A costume company is under mounting pressure to scrap a Caitlyn Jenner Halloween outfit after it sparked outrage on Twitter.
Fans and members of the transgender community were up in arms after a version of the Call Me Caitlyn ensemble, based on the star's Vanity Fair look, went on sale online.
They argue that the $74.99 (£47.48) unisex costume - which consists of a wig, bodice and sash printed with the words 'Call Me Caitlyn' - encourages 'transphobia'.

Spirit Halloween first announced plans to launch the controversial costume across several pop up stores last week.
And quickly another version of the outfit become available to buy on retail sites anytimecostumes.com and wholesalehalloweencostumes.com.
It features a white bodice and hot pants, similar to the clothes worn by Caitlyn on the now iconic cover of Vanity Fair - where she unveiled her feminine identity for the first time.
The shoot itself was praised for challenging stereotypes and bringing transgender issues to the forefront of people's minds.
Fans of Caitlyn and members of the transgender community have taken to Twitter to express their outrage
Many have slammed the costume as mean-spirited and tasteless in a series of angry tweets

Another costume featuring former Olympian Caitlyn in her running gear, complete with wig and sash, was featured on another website - Buy Costumes - but has since been taken down.
Fans of Caitlyn and members of the transgender community have taken to Twitter to express their outrage, calling the costume extremely insensitive and tasteless.
One woman Michelle Vidrine believed it promoted ideas of exclusion, tweeting: 'What kind of society are we to allow people to mock @Caitlyn_Jenner on Halloween with a costume! We got some work to do on inclusion.'
Others remarked that it was no better than bullying.
Kellie Knapp wrote: 'This is so freaking mean and cruel. Cait is courageous and beautiful and yes even a role model. How dare people.'

What hasn't been mocked as a Halloween costume? Come on people you had to see this coming. Get over it. I'm sure you (Twitter folks) have more important things in your lives to worry about......or maybe they don't. Shrug.
Yeah, actually, you could create this for a lot less than $75. A $5 wig from Party City and some creative sewing with a cami and a pair of white booty shorts. Then a ribbon with writing on it. 25 bucks tops...

If I can sew a Pinocchio costume by hand for which I had no pattern I could make this. I refused to pay $75 for a costume SS was going to wear one time for half an hour. NO WAY!
