G was born and raised in Pittsburgh, even has on original terrible towel. He's flying tonight and won't be able to watch it. So I will be home, alone (except for the cats), watching the first football game of the season. Probably crying...wink

 OF COURSE I've been to football games.  In high school, I only ever missed one game and that's when my father was dying.  In college, I dated football players and had to go. 

It's a stupid game and I hate it.  It stops and starts, and stops and starts, and they move 3 feet down the field at a time.  Give me basketball or hockey, please.  I like games with continuous action and where the clock rarely stops.

I've been to a rams game back when they were still at the L.A. Colusium. It was so boring!!!!!! I do love going to a college football game. It is fun seeing the students get so excited for their school team.

And it depends on the college, imo.

I love the strategy. A long run or a well-thrown pass is a thing of beauty.

I used to get dragged to the USC/UCLA games in my previous life. I hated it. Drunk kids throwing up in the tunnels. Went to Rams games and Raiders games. I was more interested in eating and people-watching. Couldn't tell you what was going on down on the field. Didn't care. I never missed high school football games. To socialize with my friends or meet up to go to a party.
