We are being treated with mid 80's in the day and mid to upper 60's at night! This is more like October weather.

Apparently it isn't a sleepy Saturday for LGS! She is one posting maniac. The speed at which she starts new threads makes it difficult for me to keep up.

Ok so I de-cluttered the piles of papers laying around, grocery shopped, took the dog for a walk and now being lazy. It's that kind of day. I really needed this mental break sort of day.

Went to Hobby Lobby. I should know better. It's like a drug.

Spent almost 2 hours there.

Then Walmart.

I am almost done with my Christmas shopping.

Just have 3 more things to get.

It's 79, light breeze. It's nice.

I could use a nap.

Oh. Picked up a bag of the new Lay's flavor chips. Tried the gyro the other day. Gross.

The Southern gravy and biscuits is really good.

We got the Ruben too. Haven't tried it yet.

I went to work for 5 hours this morning and I have been vegging out on the couch and binge watching Netflix ever since. The dog fell asleep on my lap long ago so I won't be moving for awhile. I hope I don't have to pee.

Our new place is full of windows. When they are all open, it's freezing! I have one open in each room for now. It is so pretty outside that I can't bear to cover up the view, so no curtains in the living room. Plus they are HUGE windows. It would cost a fortune to have curtains made this big. Can't wait to see the winter in the woods from my couch.

We all went and got haircuts.  Now I have to get the pups off the bed so I can make it.

Neighbor has a chow. My dog freaking HATES that chow. She just went past walking it and now Aksel won't settle down and keeps barking. I should take this opportunity to pee while he is off my lap.

The windows all face the woods. The front of the house where people walk by - no windows.

And privacy at a boarding school is a relative term. Lol. On Thursday night, 8 senior girls just walked in the door and sat down in the living room. It's a different environment.

I am binge watching Lost. I waver from thinking " this is cool" to "wtf is going on?" It's only season 2 - I can't decide if it's worth continuing or not. I think I will...mostly because I am stubborn and not a quitter, partly because it's sort of addicting. In a sick kind of way.

 LOL, I have no one behind my house.  It is all woods and at the end of my property a steep drop off to the dingle that leads to the pond. No one but the wildlife will see you in the windows.  I've lived here for 8 years and never had shades or such on the bathroom windows.  After much complaining from visitors that felt "exposed" when in any of the bathrooms, I just this past month put window coverings on the windows. Now the fox and deer can't see anyone naked.  LOL

 That's what our backyard is like. It's all woods. There is a cliff right back there and it leads to town, but no one is getting up that cliff. The windows are about 10 feet tall - we have a 20 foot ceiling in the living room at least. The front yard...that's another story. It's on the main campus road and the kids are always going by. But no windows on that side of the house.
