Caitlyn Jenner has finally come out in support of gay marriage.
The 65-year-old wrote on her blog on Monday that 'everyone should be able to marry the person they love'.
The reality star was recently grilled by Ellen DeGeneres on her reluctance to support same-sex marriage.

How open minded: Caitlyn Jenner has finally come out in support of gay marriage, ten days after a tense standoff with Ellen DeGeneres over the issue
The host, who is married to Scandal actress Portia DeRossi, said she found the former Olympian's stance on the matter 'confusing', in an uncomfortable exchange atypical of the usual fun and frothy interviews the show is famed for.
Jenner is a self-described conservative Republican, herself a somewhat atypical example having switched genders earlier this year, a soapbox from which she now preaches equality and acceptance.
Being the world's most famous transgender person made her quotes on Ellen even more baffling.
Conundrum: Jenner is a self-described conservative Republican, herself a somewhat atypical example having switched genders earlier this year, a soapbox from which she now preaches equality and acceptance
'When the whole gay marriage issue came up, at first I was not for it,' she said. 'I'm a traditionalist. I kinda like tradition. It's always been a man and a woman.'
But as she marked the end of the first season of her reality show I Am Cait, the former-athlete blogged about how she had now embraced the idea of same-sex marriage, apparently only now becoming aware that her gay friends faced discrimination.
'I want to help each of you understand something that I only recently embraced: Being different is okay – in fact, it’s great!' she wrote.

'But I also understand it takes some getting used to. Like many people, there was a time when I didn’t realize how important it is for gay couples to have the right to get married. But after hearing from my gay friends and learning more about the hardships they faced because of discrimination, it became clear to me that everyone should be able to marry the person they love.
'I can only hope that by sharing my story, there’s someone out there whose mind has been changed about trans people,' she added.
Incredibly, despite admitting she only 'recently embraced' the gay rights plight, just one paragraph earlier she appeared to take partial credit for the movement.
'Trans rights are about 30 years behind gay rights (and look at the incredible progress we’ve made there!)' she wrote.
Ten days ago Ellen appeared genuinely taken aback when Jenner reluctantly accepted gay people might want to get married, almost grudgingly allowing 'them' to use the word 'marriage' because it was 'really, really important' to them.
'If that word `marriage' is really, really that important to you, I can go with it,' she told an incredulous Ellen.
'It's pretty much going to be the law of the land. So I still feel like, yeah, I'm okay with that because I don't want to stand in front of someone's happiness.'
DeGeneres suggested Jenner is still 'a little not onboard with it', prompting Jenner to insist, 'I am onboard'.
'Afterwards a bewildered Ellen recounted the tale toUS radio host Howard Stern: 'She still has a judgment about gay marriage,' she said.
"You're wanting people to understand and accept you. This is like really confusing to people and you still have a judgment about gay people and marriage. I don't fully understand all of that.'
Comedy Central hinted on Monday that Caitlyn will feature in South Park's season 19 premiere on Wednesday, teasing that 'The boys express respect for Caitlyn Jenner'.
The episode titled Stunning and Brave will feature a new school principal who 'forces the boys to confront the damage they’ve done through their history of racism and unconscious bias' - although the new mystery school head is definitely male.
So gracious: 'Everyone should be able to marry the person they love,' she wrote in her post, alongside such
I find it interesting that the "tolerant' Left cannot handle someone who doesn't fit their mold. Caitlyn saying he/she is a conservative Repo and not fully in support of gay marriage flips them out, lol.
He needs to disappear into his closet and just stick to playing dress up.

I thought it, Trudy. But who knows. And really, who cares. The LGBTs seem to be up in arms over him/her more than anyone. Can't handle a Republican being one of them. They are being infiltrated.
On another note, I wonder how much he really does feel like a woman. He said in his big reveal interview that he is attracted to women, always has, and this transition is not about sex or sexual attraction. And he doesn't consider himself a lesbian. So.......?
So, he was against gay marriage until Ellen grilled him and is now in support of it. Right.
He should embrace what he really does believe and stand firm. Switching stances like that makes him look fake.
MWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah. Cause THAT is what makes him look fake!

He has a long time b/f is what I heard. Not that I care. I wouldn't have my dog look up to him as an example of anything.

He still has a penis. I don't know any women who have a penis.

Yes. That screams "I'm a traditionalist!", doesn't it?

No, people that have mental issues (like Bruce) should not be hero worshipped. He is mentally ill. He needs to stay out of the spotlight and get the help he desperately needs...

Yes, because everyone who isn't exactly like you is mentally ill and should remain hidden, deep in the closet.
Well no one has to be just like me. How boring would that be?
But Bruce is a poor excuse for a role model for anyone.
I'd rather a person look up to Ru Paul than Bruce Jenner.
