The hashtag appeared online after "The View" co-hosts Michelle Collins and Joy Behar criticized Miss Colorado Kelley Johnson, a nurse, for her monologue during the 2016 Miss America Pageant.

I don't have the website.  It's pretty much all over the internet.  Apparently Miss Colorado gave a monologue in her uniform and stethoscope.  And while I admit it wasn't really talent contest worthy what the view said was pretty bad.  They mocked her for carrying a "doctors" stethoscope.  Asking what she did with it.  They also mocked her "costume" which was just blue scrubs like you'd see in any ER. 

It's gone viral and police, firemen, doctors, EMT's, and all the other service industries like this are coming forward to defend the nurses.  I think the View may have overstepped a bit on this one.

Reciting a monologue is a talent. There are a lot of people who could not speak a word in public like that and it's totally within the rules to do so. The View ladies were so off bad on this one. I hope they don't get sick any time soon.

The View ladies are idiots anyway so why would anyone be surprised? Um, yeah DUH you dumb arse women, there are a lot of other professionals who wear scrubs and use stethoscopes. Wow.

I never really watched the show, but occasionally I would tune in if I were home and bored. Until Hasselbeck left. She was the only normal one in the bunch. Now they are a bunch of kooks.  If I wanted to watch idiocy, I'd watch Dr. Phil or Jerry Springer.

I don't watch them. Just saw this playing out over the internet. I watched her monologue. It was nice. But there was an opera singer that was out of this world and also a woman who played something I can't think of right now. cellist?

I hate The View too.
But I have to say.....I applaud what she was doing with her nursing monologue.....to me she wasn't a very dynamic speaker. It felt a bit flat. But I do tjink Behar is a dumbazz.

 Yeah, I applaud what she was doing too.  But like you said it fell a bit short.  Especially when it was compared to the opera singer and the cellist.   The view though are idiots.  Johnson and Johnson have pulled all their advertising as well as another major company that supports nursing.  Johnson and Johnson has pledged to turn the money they used for advertising on that show into scholarship money for nurses!

The day after it all hit the fan the women said they had not been serious and it was supposed to be a joke and no one understood that.  With that failed apology came more backlash.  So yesterday they had some nurses on and asked them to talk about nursing.  The idiots were all given a doctors stethoscope.  They did apologize.  "After our comments we heard you.  And we heard you loudly so we're now apologizing..."  IOW's they never realized they were such idiots and when they got called on the carpet they knew that had to apologize or else.  They weren't sincere but who cares.  Nurses now have more scholarships so yes, I'm happy.

So another update. One of the Views people was caught backstage telling one of the nurses they didn't want to apologize but the network made them.

I've never liked that show. Nor any of its hosts.

It was playing on a waiting room tv once and I think that was the most I ever watched it.

My goodness. It was like watching that one table of girls in the cafeteria that doesn't really belong to any one group. They bond over their rejections and then try so hard to be like the cool kids they just come off as bobble heads.

Noisy, nothing to say, no real substance at all.
