I'm not ignoring you. You might not get the answer you want, but you are NOT being ignored.

Guys really do not get into Christmas and gift exchanges like women.

I can understand. My DH hates to shop for me for Christmas, let alone someone else.

I agree, it would be fun if they did, but we can't force what isn't there. JMHO

I don't remember any of the guys saying they were bummed out for not joining in, but I may be wrong.

I can't speak for the other men on the board, and while I don't really care for the commercialism and consumerism of Christmas, I do enjoy giving gifts to those close to me.  I enjoy shopping for just the right item(s).  I have never failed to disappoint any receivers of my gifts so far.  I am very thoughtful and conscientious about taking mental notes, listening to what people want, observing which items they like when shopping with them, visiting their wish lists with permission on certain online sites, then buying what they want.  If I am not sure what they want exactly, or if what they want is too much for my budget, I will at least give them a gift card for what I can afford to a retailer I know they like.

Unfortunately, I do not wish to share my mailing address with others.  It is just a privacy issue with me, so I do not participate in the exchanges.  Due to being stalked in person and online in the past (and actual threats from said stalkers), I am wary of what info I give out.  smile

RTL - I am not picking on you or being the grammar police, but this means you have disappointed every recipient you have given a gift. At first I thought you were going to go into an explanation of what a terrible shopper you were & that is why you don't want to participate.

You sound like a very thoughtful person & your friends are lucky to receive a gift from you. I am sorry you have been stalked. That would be terrifying.

I remember you saying that last year, RTL, so I figured I wouldn't harass you this year.  :D
