Soooo, those of you that grew up in the eighties, are you enjoying the "new" clothing trends that are throwbacks to the 80s, or are you horrified?  Tunics and leggings, pastel southwest patterns, I saw them all in the kid's clothing store last night.

What do you mean "new" throwbacks?

I still have my hot pink, snake skin print spandex and concert tees!

And those shoulder pads are FINALLY making a comeback.

Let's hear it for the leg warmers!

Levis just tight enough to know what kind of evening you could expect. Lol.

And what is wrong with neon?

Day glo is awesome!

Yes. I had it. Lots of it. So much so neon became my nickname.

What I am horrified at is the tight fitting, now breathing tops made out of polyester are horrible, can you say BO? I love the free flowing tops, the ones that are loose fitting, longer in the back than the front.. I like the leggings.

I like the leggings and flowing blouses or sweaters. Actually, I like it all. Loved it the first time, too. I haven't seen any shoulder pads yet. Those I would have to take a pass on. I was never a neon kind of girl either. I wished I had kept a lot of stuff. The only remnant is a black suede skirt I rocked back then. I'll have to see if it still fits. I'm sure it will be too short for my age, but it would be fun to try it on.

Meh. Bright colours don't bother me. Our children aren't Greek widows.

Meh. Bright colours don't bother me. Our children aren't Greek widows. 

 Mine are. All black all the time is the motto in this house. Makes laundry so much easier.
