A massive high school football player is focused on making his way into the NFL.

John Krahn is just 17-years-old, but is 7-feet tall and weighs in at 440 pounds, making him the biggest high school player in the country.

He would also become the tallest player in NFL history should he be drafted into the league - and as a lineman near impossible to block or get past.

Krahn plays for Martin Luther King High School in Riverside, California, and has been on the team ever since he was a As a 6'8", 330-pound sophomore.

He came to football late, but is now working on his footwork, eating healthy and lifting weights to prepare himself for a possibly career in the sport.

'I've had minimal experience. I started in high school, but I've trained my way through, going to different camps,' Krahn said in an interview with Max Preps.

This included participating in USA Football's National Development Games in Los Angeles over the summer, where there was definite interest in Krahn from college coaches - if he lost some weight.

'They think he could be a force at a lighter weight,' said Jimmy Thomas of USA Football.

To that end, Krahn is consuming a 3,000-calorie diet each day that includes lots of chicken and fish.

In an interview with The Press Enterprise Krahn said he enjoys football because his size allows him to 'control what goes on.'

His parents are also tall, with his dad Robert 6'5" and his mom Cindy 6'0", but not as tall as their son - who wears a size 18 shoe.

'It’s like a normal thing for me,' said Krahn of his height.

'Most things, like finding shoes and clothes, you learn and you get used to what you can find that fits and what you can’t.

'You start getting a perspective of what you need or don’t, what’s important and what’s not
