I'm up still. I'm so tired but my throat hurts so bad its hard to sleep. So I've kind of given up. Tomorrow is DDs picture day at school and I have no idea what she is going to wear.usually I am more prepared.

Yes. They've been giving flu shots for a few weeks here. Our insurance ends on Wednesday so we wanted to go ahead and get them while they were covered on insurance. We're looking at alternatives for insurance. But we also needed to get SS's done. We thought, no problem. We'll zip over to his house, pick him up, and then take him across the street to the pharmacy to get his shot. Then we were just going to zip him home. No biggie right? Wrong. There is one pharmacy in his town which is forty minutes from us and they don't immunize anyone under 14. Argh. So we had to bring him all the way home, pick up the other kids, go to the pharmacy by our house, and get shots. Then we had to feed him. We bought some crap frozen food and threw it in the oven. Then we drove him another forty minutes home.

The cake would have been a bit easier but I like to shred my own carrots. I shred them way finer than the ones you can buy at the store. I had also bought a bunch of halved pecans for the pecan cheesecakes and the carrot cake called for chopped pecans so I had to drag the Ninja out to chop them. It was still pretty complicated though. I messaged my friend and told her she'd darn well better be thanking me profusely for making her the cake! She sent me a message back... Oh wow!! You are so amazingly wonderful to make that cake 🎂 for me!! I hope you know how sweet you are!!! I bet the cake is not as sweet as you!!! P. S. Am I off to a good start?? LOL

Yay! She hasn't got a name yet. I will post a picture of Polka and her baby later. Polka is a massive whale of a cow, and she had the tiniest, daintiest little heifer you can imagine! She is sooooo pretty. I want to call her Poppy.

Morning everyone. I have a hair appointment in a half hour. My last one with my regular stylist. She is having foot surgery & has decided not to come back afterwards. I'm pretty bummed about that. She has been cutting my hair for 25 years.

Happy day! Or at least I am hoping for it.

It is a work day so it is a little slower for me. I am so exhausted on my intern days. But I am learning and busy so that is good. I got the last two classes I needed for graduation substituted so I do not have to take an Arts class or a Computer skills class. I will soon be applying for a December graduation.

Had a great weekend with BFF and her kids. They left yesterday. Miss them already. I wish I could get her to move back to PA.

Happy Tuesday, it's been a whirlwind of busy around my house lately, so it seems I am not certain if I am coming or going. My oldest grandson is 2 today!! I can't believe the time has gone so fast. I sent him a balloon bouquet it has a 2 foot Olaf balloon a huge number 2 balloon and 4 regular mylar balloons tied to a pack of fall cookies

we will give him his gifts later, but I wanted to surprise him today!

There were rumors that the show wasn't going to be renewed, then there were rumors that Stana Katic wasn't sure she wanted to renew her contract if her character was going to be boring & finally they lost one of their writers. Let's hope it is just getting off to a rocky start. Last season sure did but overall wasn't bad.

I went to the doc about my throat. She thinks I have an abscess which after Googling, sounds disgusting. I'm waiting on the radiologist to schedule a CT scan. They are supposed to call today but they are taking their sweet time.
