Now, my oldest DD could do this in a snap. I don't know where she got that from because it wasn't from me.

I love the ice cream cones filled with fruit. That one I might have a chance at making.

The cones with fruit look yummy and easy. A dollop of whip cream would make them gorgeous.

NJN - Thanks for this thread. It gave me an idea for DS' birthday party. Unless plans change, I'm going to make a fire-breathing dragon out of fruits/veg. I have the vision in my head. Just got to draw it out and plan what food to use for what part.

That sounds really cool! What will you use for the fire? Maybe some orange cellophane strips? With a little mini-fan (battery-operated) in the head?

Right now, the plan is julienned red, orange, and yellow bell peppers for the fire. It's not going to be 3D unless I get super ambitious come party time. I'm making a 3D cake though.
