28 when I woke up this morning. Supposed to reach 70 tomorrow. #2 has a cold, and this morning it sounded croupy. I wrapped him up and let him breathe in the cold air and he was much better. He wanted to stay home. But it's picture day at school, so off he went. Mother of the year here.

Well, he was otherwise fine. Sounded a little congested, but no fever. Croup went away. And being out in the cold air is actually good for his throat. And they are at the age now where they want to stay home and "have fun" with mommy. Nope. When they do stay home, I do not make it fun.

DH and I visited Itty bitty Saturday afternoon.

We were playing in her bedroom, when she told me that she had to go to the bathroom. It's a small house, so I could hear her when she said: "Hurry up, pee, I've gotta go play with Grammy."

It made me laugh, but on Sunday, it made me cry.

Always fun to play with grandkids. Can't wait till my baby gs is old enough to play with and my grandgirls are back in the states. It is so sweet that itty bitty wanted to hurry up and play with grammy. I bet it melted your heart.

I am so excited. Yesterday I went to Kohls & bought a new piece of luggage for our trip. It was a bit pricey, but it's Samsonite & so light & easy to pull. I love my old luggage, but all of the pulls on the zippers have broken off.

Oh, and I got $20 Kohls cash!!!

I made a newb mom mistake. My child didn't take a nap yesterday and then fell asleep at 4:30. I didn;'t wake him up. He woke up a 4 am ready to hit the day hard. Now I feel like a zombie.

Hello All! It took everything in me to leave my nice, warm, comfortable bed this morning. I really did not want to wake up.

Today I am working. I have stretched out edited three spreadsheet to take about three hours. There really is not much for me to do here. I will be spending the afternoon adding 5 purchases for this year to the inventory list and trying to make that last for another three hours. In between, I have been working on some homework and surfing Pinterest. Once schoolwork is done, I will start reading on Kindle app again.

Working from home sounds like a good idea. You'll be more comfy & can take little breaks if you need to. Plus you won't be the hacking germy coworker that spreads the wealth. I hope it passes quickly.

After that, you can expect to have occasional problems in the $500 range once in a while.

Just in from the eye dr. I hate it when they dilate my eyes. 😳 On the plus side, my eyes have changed for th better and I get to go shopping for new glasses.

And I know this is going to sound totally stupid but before my lasik I got all kinds of compliments on my eyes. Just constantly. After the surgery, I don't think I've ever gotten one.
