LOL, SB!

Good morning all.

It is another beautiful fall day here as well. So unusual for November. The nasty S word is in the forecast for the end of the week. It won't last long, because it warms back up the next day, but..

Not much new around here. Busy is my middle name lately.

Hope everyone has a great day.

In the news here today a guy I went to school with was found stabbed to death on a random strangers front porch. I haven't even thought of the guy in 30 years but it still sent a shiver down my spine. A few years ago our class President & all around good guy was also murdered. We really don't live in a high crime area.

Morning Geeks.

Thanks Czech. It is really more of a shock than anything. I feel really bad for the homeowners. Can you imagine finding a dead stranger on your porch? Shudder.

So, I just found out that my cousin, who was married to a man for 15 years, had a daughter with this man, whose wedding I participated in as a bridesmaid.....is gay. Apparently she came out 5 years ago, when her daughter was 12. I'm just now finding out because her girlfriend posted snugly pictures of the two of them and tagged my other cousin and it showed up on my wall. So I contacted my other cousin's wife and yep, she came out 5 years ago. Okay, fine. But I'm pist because she would do that to her daughter, whom I've noticed has been very sullen ever since.

My brother and I have been burning up each others' phones over this. LOL

Sounds like her personal happiness is more important than her DD's mental wellbeing. Another perfect example of the "me first" generation. What ever happened to being an adult and putting their kids needs first?

Before My SIL left my brother she would say her son wouldn't be happy if she wasn't happy. Yeah right.

It would explain why she never puts anything on FB about her mother, only her father and his family.

I would have a hard time at my age but I think I would have been devastated at age 12. And embarrassed. Confused. As though I was born from a lie, not from love, as I was led to believe for 12 years. I can't imagine doing that to a child.

My freshman year of HS I met a new friend. I spent a fair amount of time at her house. Her parents were divorced & she lived with her mother & a woman I assumed was a roommate to share expenses. I never gave it any thought until I was invited to go camping with them. It was on that camping trip I realized that the roommate was a whole lot more than just a roommate. I was really freaked out. My friend laughed because she assumed I knew. It didn't seem to bother her at all. It just was the way their life was.

Just started my new position at work. So far so good, I haven't been overwhelmed. They're taking it slowly so I'm happy about that. Happy Hump Day everyone!

I bought a bag of apples the other day.

Galas. I can peel them with out a knife.

The skin peels right off.

I wonder whether a woman who's been married, and having sex with a man, then moves out and switches to a female partner, is bisexual, rather than completely gay.

I saw a study once that said that 17% are bisexual.

If her DD has been sullen ever since, it's possible that (1) her mother just didn't explain to the girl correctly, or (2) the girl is a teenager, and being sullen often just comes with the territory.

She's now 17, if you see her (I would only do this in person) you might ask her how she feels about it, and whether she feels her mother "did this to her", or just did it (which is not personal).

My aunt, uncle and a gaggle of cousins are going to Vegas for thanksgiving. They are tying to convince me to come. My parents are not going, so I am torn.

Wow Riding, that is sudden and horrible.

VEGAS! BABY!

My HS sweetheart's bro's GF live with her mother and mother's GF. Mother and father were married for almost 20 years, two kids, and one day Mom announced she wanted a divorce and proceeded to move her GF in. The Bro's GF was very confused, talking about it didn't help her. It was sad.

You might take a piece of paper and set up a Ben Franklin Decision Tree to help you decide, or ...

Flip a coin. Heads you go, tails you stay.

Once you get THAT decision, you will either say "Okay, it's decided", or "No, I don't like that answer." And you'll know.
