Ok. I have a test mug of hot cider, and it is good, but it is a store bought cider and is not as good as some I've had.
Anyone have a good recipe to share?

Stud a whole apple with about 2 teaspoons of whole cloves.
Thinly slice an orange.
Quarter cup brown sugar
Mix the brown sugar into the cider in a sauce pan (I've done it in the crock pot too). Float the apple and orange slices in the cider. Keep on low heat to simmer. Let it simmer at least half an hour to mix the flavors. You can leave it all day and makes the house smell awesome.

I had it one time that was "buttered". It was delicious. But I don't think it actually had butter in it. Have you ever heard of it?
