Just heard on ABC's nightly news there are credible threats by ISIS against black Friday shoppers.

Travelers too.

Several places are boosting security. 

Honestly, I wouldn't step foot in a store on black Friday. No matter if there are threats or not.

Anyone planning on shopping?

We're not going shopping on Black Friday this year. We haven't seen anything we have to have. But if we did we wouldn't let the terrorists stop us. I would love to go to the Amish Fair this year but I don't think DH is up to it.

   I really don't have that much to buy.  I only shop for the kids and DH.  The kids really just want money now for the most part.  Or clothes.  I won't buy them clothes unless they try them on.  So, we just go shopping and they try them on and then they get money.  That's pretty much it for the boys.  DD is only 13 so i will still pick her up a few things.  DH and I just buy a few things for one another.  The other relatives I buy for, I don't see them until Easter so i usually just wait till then to buy them things.

 That's us.  Although I have a few stocking stuffers.  When I go to Wal-Mart I always check out the clearance aisle.  I have a couple puzzles for SS.  Little packages of kleenex.  They had some shampoo and lotion for twenty cents during the summer so I bought some for the kids stocking.  I got a couple samples of Woolite on clearance for DN.  I ordered DH a minion fart gun the other day.  He will thoroughly enjoy that.  I'm going to let SS give it to him.  That's all I've done.  I've been concentrating on getting my SS gift done.

We don't exchange gifts anymore. We buy for people at the local shelter but they don't give us the list until about the 10th of December or later.

We've been known to shop on Christmas Eve. I bought a few things for our adopted families. I have to go pick up these little elves I ordered. They are so adorable. Little boy and girl elves personalized with their names.

Probably wont be going out anywhere except maybe home depot, but not because of any warnings. everyone else can duct and cover if the want.

The only place I might shop on Black Friday is Costco. They don't have anything special on Black Friday.

Well. With recent events and the fact that there are credible threats, I don't see this as nothing.

I got sucked into going out today. But I just drove. Stayed in the car.

It was safer for everyone involved.

The crowds are already ridiculous.
