If anyone is a reader of The Daily Beast, Buzzfeed, Jezebel or Gawker you've probably run across the James Deen articles. The most famous "Feminist" Porn star has just been accused of rape by 2 ex girlfriends and a former scene partner.
Its interesting to me that his career can be killed by accusations, with no facts. If he did do it, by all means he should be in trouble. But I find it interesting that Porn stars are accusing each other of rape. If you are filming a scene at what point is it rape?
After multiple allegations of sexual assault were made against him over the weekend, San Francisco-based bondage pornography studio Kink announced Monday that they will “cease all ties” with actor and producer James Deen.
In a statement provided to BuzzFeed News, they wrote:
Our performers deserve not only safe sets, but the ability to work without fear of assault. Rape or sexual assault, with or without a safe-word, off-set or on, should never be accepted as a hazard of adult production. While many of the allegations against Deen are new, the pattern is alarming. Over the coming weeks and months, we will review our Model Bill of Rights to strengthen rights of performers off-set, and work with the larger industry to help performers to have been assaulted to more easily come forward.
Around the same time he was dropped from Kink, Deen announced he would be stepping down from his role as chairperson of the board of directors of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee. The committee responded by saying they recognized “the seriousness of the statements made by performers in the community” and that they would continue to provide performers with “support and guidance.”
Deen, who has denied all allegations made against him, has yet to comment on either Kink’s actions or his resignation from the APAC.
In two brief tweets sent Saturday afternoon, porn star Stoya accused her ex-boyfriend, fellow porn star James Deen, of raping her.
Fellow porn star Joanna Angel has also expressed her support for Stoya.

Stoya, who is also a writer, was relatively silent about her break-up with Deen, which is believed to have occurred sometime in 2014. Deen has been heralded here and elsewhere across the internet as a man who has gotten women who aren’t into porn interested in it, both for his regular dude appearance and his sort-of embrace of feminism.
Stoya previously tweeted that she’d be “mostly offline” until December 17. Deen has yet to comment on her accusation.

I agree, that it is surprising and concerning that he lost his job by twitter accusations without any type of investigation.
I did read in one article that he didn't stop even after she said no, and stop, and used the safe word. But that was a girl friend and it didn't sound like they were filming at the time, but I could be wrong.
