Strawberry corer, salad spinner, egg slicer, or some other gadget which seems really useful at the time, but takes more time to clean than it does to do by hand.

LOL!  I'm serious.  I will have to take a picture of my leg lamp, but Big Mouth Billy Bass, the singing fish, is at the lake house...

And last year Momala sent me a chopper that G SWEARS by...

I use the Vidalia chopper, Ohfour and LOVE it. I also use a mini chopper that is electric which I love. But some of those herb cutters are junk. I did just order a pair of herb scissors from Amazon that I'm going to try.

As for the leg lamp and fish, I can see those items working quite well in a lake house...

I use my salad spinner to store smaller items. It's a PIA to empty it every time I want to dry lettuce, so I just use a clean dish towel.
