Believe me I knew the one family very well. Ok the husband was a d-bag but the wife & children were kind generous people. We actually discussed faith.

The other family I didn't know as well. They were actually friends with my ex but I socialized with them on many occasions. He was from a very wealthy family in the middle east but left because he didn't like the way they treated women. Again super nice people.

I realize this is a small sample but they are the ones I know personally and what I have to base my knowledge on.

Leaving aside that I am a gun owner and a liberal for a mement, I merely pointed out what I have seen talked about.

While I am never against making a deadly weapon harder to come by, (because even law abiding citizens can have an accident, or have their guns stolen) I have never once said that stricter laws will prevent mass shootings.

But hey, I am not the one saying we should treat gun owners like we want to treat the Muslims, you are.

So let's round them up and lock them in concentration camps, and refuse to let anyone in the country that has ever owned a gun, or is related to someone who has ever owned a gun. Shut down places of worship if their congregation is comprised of gun owners.

That is what your little darling Trump wants to do with Muslims. So, why not do the same with all gun owners?

I think that the best plan of action is to be aware of your surroundings, neighborhood and work place. If the neighbor who saw suspicious going on's in the house where the terrorists lived reported what he/she saw instead of worrying about looking like a racist maybe the shootings would have been prevented. I'm not for rounding up citizens just because of their religion nor am I comfortable with being so concerned about being a racist that when we see the signs of a suspicious activity we don't report it because we don't want to appear racist. (we should report anything suspicious)
