I just ordered Adirondack chairs for DS's front porch, had them sent to him. Killed me to pay the sales tax since I live in a no sales tax state but he does.

I told him last night that I know what Santa's bringing

I have so much shopping left to do. I may just wuss out and get my sister and BIL gift cards. But it's what they asked for. Still need to figure out what to get mom and dad too. And a couple friends. Then I'm done. I guess it's not too bad

Until I read this, I was planning to go to Walmart for some groceries today.

Thank you for changing my mind. Sundays there are usually crowded with long checkout lines, today will be much worse. cry

I will be actively avoiding all shopping areas as much as possible unless I just can not get out of it.

My shopping is done. Waiting on the last few things to be delivered and then after wrapping those, I'm done.

Well, I still need to pick up a bag of their favorite candy for their stockings. And that's it.

I love Adirondack chairs. I just wish I could find some higher off the ground. What color are the chairs?

It is raw and cold here even though the temp is 50. Just a day to stay inside after a dog walk. Bottle that sunshine Flan!

Yep! Out of the blue I received an email from a similar company that has offices 4 miles from me and 8 miles from me. They want to interview me. I so hope I get a decent offer. The commute will give me 10 hours a week back.

Cousin's dogs are fed. Went to church. Now I'm home to do some serious cleaning. My mother is insisting our cleaning lady clean the basement this week. I hate having her in my space. I need get all my stuff picked up and put away before then. I really just want her to vacuum everything really well, and maybe some dusting. Off to do some purging

Hello all! We bought our boys their gift last night. We had to order a part for it online so we're waiting on that. I picked out new jammies that DH bought me. Our tradition. Of course, I always know what I get. All we have left is stocking stuffers. I'm going to change that up this year too. I think I'm going to make cookies today!

You seriously want cookies? I will be glad to send you some. I made Mexican Christmas cookies the other day. I need to freeze some before my family eats them all. Today I want to do sugar cookies. And one day I am going to make the dogs homemade biscuits for Christmas. I also want to make a white chocolate cranberry cake.

I'm making some good progress. My mom has decided she's having a yard sale in the spring. So I've started taking stuff to the garage for her to sell. I don't want it. I want it out of my area. I also filed about 2 years worth of mail. I should probably keep up on that better. I have just been shoving a bunch of stuff in my bedroom or Corgi's room to get it out of the main living area. Those will be projects for another day.

Dad decided he wants take-out Chinese for dinner, we are celebrating his birthday tonight since he'll be traveling this week.

Well I might never know. Lol. DD here called me when I was about 30 seconds in and asked for a ride. I dropped her off, came back home and settled in, then DD in NYC called me and talked for about 30 minutes. So that hour I had available to watch tv without guilt...gone...even as adults, the kids have a way of figuring out when you want some time to yourself and they butt right in!
