Good morning all. I'm up and don't want to be up. The bed really made it hard for me to leave it this morning. So....warm.

It's cold and icy out there. DH's car sat and spun wheels. He thought it was funny. I'm not stepping a foot out there.

Morning everyone. It is a gorgeous sunny day here. Kind of funny me, my boss & another coworker all brought chicken pot pie for lunch today. It's not like it is a cold comfort food type day. It is in the 60s.

NAOW snow days are meant for lounging around & being lazy. Binge watching movies sounds like just the thing to do.

Maybe I'm old....I don't want to pay money to see someone perform only to have them shout profanities. Or bash our President or country, like that Natalie from the Dixie Chicks, however talented they might be. I don't know how Adele acts at her concerts. Hopefully you'll go, flan, and report back?

I'm guess I'm old too. I will not pay $300 to sit in a nosebleed section so I can watch a concert on a big screen. I like more intimate venues. With less people.

I'm spoiled though. I don't go to many concerts that I'm not backstage...

Busy work day. Finally getting here to catch up on posts. Only going to get worse.

We are changing banks and need to go over and set it up today. We have no choice in the matter since the bank we are/were using has decided that they no longer want us as a customer. There is no reason for this. Makes year end really sucky.

Dentist wants to do more work which means more money going out. I told them to prioritize what needs to be done. There goes another $300 next week.

(Whine) Money for vacation is rapidly dwindling. I know there is plenty to do that is free in Vegas but I wanted a nicer vacation. I wanted to do more fun things that cost money. The gambling part is minimal anyway especially since DH really does not gamble.

Last concert I was at was Ozzy, Sepultra, and Type O Negative.

It was 1996.

My favorite place in a big concert is the first set of risers. You can see over everyone on the floor straight to the stage.

But I prefer the more intimate settings like small theaters or even bars.

 Yeah she had a snotty attitude.  I think her beef with Toby had to do with her mouthing off about Bush.  Toby is all about patriotism.  I have 2 or 3 of their CDs.  They were my favorite group for a while.

well its a winter storm warning, and town is shutting down, so we are shutting down our office, and I am going to get myself home, the roads are horrendous! In Wyoming if they start shutting things down it is really bad, as we usually just *plow* through LOL

I will try to peek back in from home, but might also lock myself in guest room and wrap gifts....or not LOL
