Getting ready to pick up the boys at mom's house. Sounds like they had a good time. Church this evening. Not sure what else during the day. Maybe make cookies. The fudge is cut up and in containers for the neighbors. The boys will deliver them on our way to church.

Lost another pound.

Since coming back sick from the sales meeting, that's eleven.

Maybe I picked up a tape worm from the food ???

If I keep losing a pound a day, maybe I should go to a doctor ... in another two months ? smile

(It's probably not a tape worm, I'm just eating a lot less.)

Today is another cold one. In the 30's with wind chills in the 20's. I cannot wait for the warm up that should be here on Tuesday.

Soon I will be off to get my hair done. Not sure if I want just highlights or the whole coloring package.

Rest of the presents need to be wrapped. Need to stop at the dollar store and pick up a few gift bags too. DH got his guys power bank chargers.

Good morning all!

Ed, you do need to get yourself checked by your doctor. That is a lot of weight to loss in a short period of time. Not healthy, IMHO.

DH and I took a day trip yesterday. He took me to Bed, Bath and Beyond. I finally got the bed quilt I wanted for our bedroom!! It's a king size so it covers like a normal bedspread. I absolutely love it!

If I had to make one like it, it would never get done! This way I can concentrate on the smaller quilts that I love to make. :)

I also picked up a bug somewhere along the line. My tummy is not a happy camper today. Ugh.

DH went to church, I am staying home so I don't embarrass myself and spread the bug.

Hope you all have a great day and enjoy these last few days before Christmas.

DH woke up feeling blah so no Church today. DS took the news in stride today. Usually he gets upset when we can't go to Church for some reason.

Lots to get done today for my family's Christmas tomorrow. My get up and go got up and went without me so not sure how much will actually get done.

Church was nice.

The little kids acted out the Christmas Story while the young adults and praise team sang and did sign.

It was sweet, moving and cute all at the same time.

Hope all those who are sick get better soon.

Ok, making Mexican Wedding Cake cookies. Doing some out door chores too to get ready for the inevitable snow that will come in the next few weeks. It is a nice day but cold. Took the dog out. And I received another package...from DS. Sigh

Ha! Due to the lack snow and high temps, the ski areas are struggling, just booked a 2 bedroom suite at the bottom of my Fav mountain for New Years. Having DD bring a friend.

Cleaning all damn day today. I won't have time the next 2 days. Cleaned out the fridge for the ton of food that is coming, cleaned all the bathrooms, the coat closet (the catch all area), picked up the living room but it will need it again, and tried to pick up our bedroom and bathroom a bit.

I still need to wrap all of the presents, buy a few gift cards, go to work Mon, Tues, Wednesday, buy the food, and make the meatballs for Thursday. I still have time, right? Right?! RIGHT?!?!

Yikes, that is a lot to do. Can you recruit some helpers so you have time to sleep in the next few days as well?

We are ready for Christmas. DH and I finished the wrapping yesterday while DD was at my mom's. We also ran to the grocery store to get the rest of the food. I think I'll make some sugar cookie dough tonight so DD and I can cut, cook, and decorate them tomorrow.

I also got DD's birthday party booked, invitations out, cake ordered, and present ordered. Her birthday is soon after Christmas so I always stress about getting that stuff done too.

NAOW, I did the rest of our shopping today too. The store was empty. I was pretty surprised. I took SS with me. He was really upset because his mom decided to leave him with us another day. We decorated gingerbread men tonight. We have so many cookies here. I don't know what we're going to do with them all.

JK but we made that mistake last year, so this year we did Hershey kiss cookies last week, and sugar cookies this week AND THAT'S ALL, lol. Last year I had so many I even took a bunch to my mom's for her party and we still had leftovers.
