Waiting at radiology to get more extensive testing for mammogram done. Wish they would have told me to drop off paperwork beforehand

We learned a while ago to have them fax their forms to us (or I pick them up) ahead of time, so we can come in with the forms already filled out.

I am happy. Yesterday both of the Christmas musicals at church were done, and the kid's Christmas party. I am now done with all Christmas parties, activities, requirements, etc. I can now enjoy the rest of this week leading up to Christmas doing what I want, baking cookies, etc.

The school district in the city next to me is closed today due to credible threats. Parents in my town, a fee anyway, are being insulting to each on FB. Irrational fear, etc. Stupid immature idiots.

 Our schools are already closed for break.  Kids are off for 2 weeks.

Morning everyone. I watched more sappy Christmas movies over the weekend. I watched one that was very good until it ended with to be continued......Next Christmas. That really ticked me off.

My boss is on his way to the office from his house out of state. What is not on the way to the office? His laptop OR his office keys. This is the third time in he last 6 weeks he's forgotten his computer. IT just has a spare sitting in the corner for him. Sigh. I guess this is job security for me at least.

Good morning. Again.

Jlbear71, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our last day was last Friday. They go back the 5th of January.

It's crazy how some will complain no matter what the schools do.

All peppermint bark I made is gone. I need to make more. And there are only 3 cookies left.

But I have caramel brownies to make today.

Tomorrow will be red white swirl cupcakes. And Rice Krispy treats on Christmas eve.

I'm thinking about making buckeyes at some point.

My boss is off from noon today until Jan 4th. He is DRIVING ME CRAZY right now, asking me all kinds of questions, needing me to do things before he leaves (3 hours worth of stuff in 45 minutes...). I'm looking at him like he's crazy...and then I'm posting here. I will be here tomorrow and Wednesday with nothing to do. It will all get done dude...chill...

So, DH made me really happy this weekend. It's an absurdly silly thing. Since having DD11, we do new Christmas Eve PJs for everyone -that's the gift you get to open after dinner on Christmas Eve. I have always bought all of them, including mine. Well, when I was wrapping the Christmas PJs on Saturday, DH told me mine were already under the tree. I just stopped and looked at him and said, "You bought me new Christmas jammies?" He said, "Of course, it's a tradition." I was very pleasantly surprised. It only took him about 10 years to do that on his own, but I figure that's pretty good for a guy. LOL.

THIS!  Guys don't realize that it's the little things that get us. He bought them, wrapped them, AND put them under the tree!!!!  BONUS points!

I bought my granddaughter Christmas pj's when they came for Christimas two years ago. To hot where they live now for flannel. I bought my grandson some Christmas pj's and next year I get to buy all of them Christmas pj's. :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

DH always buys me jammies. But I pick them out. Sometimes we buy the kids some and other years not. If they need them then yes. If they don't need them then we don't buy them just because.

Ahh, the vacuuming is done, the bathrooms are clean (again), and the floors are scrubbed! I am done!!!

Hope to make another batch of cookies yet this afternoon. Christmas caroling is tonight and DGD told us we were on the list, so we need treats!! I can't believe we are finally old enough to be on the list!

Soup supper at church when all the carolers get back. Fun evening, IMHO.

Children's program is tomorrow night. That will be the last of the public events we have to attend. The rest of the week is for family.

And then I was stupid and started another knitting project yesterday..

It will not be done for a week or two. Oh well... ;)

Contractor left, renovations on my 1/2 bath/laundry room. It will be soooo nice. Must go shopping for stackable washer/dryer though. Having those will give me lots of storage space that I desperately need.
