Ok. Sitting here, minding my own business popping some bubbles on my phone when the emergency alert system sounded on it.

My phone just almost became airborne.

Ohhhh the good food we have eaten. All presents unwrapped and ohhh'd and awww'd over. Wrapping cleaned up, early dinner eaten and cleaned up, now some are napping and some are playing games while we all rest up for another round of yummy food for dinner. We will have leftover turkey all week but I am fine with that.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day with their family and friends and spends the day doing exactly what makes them happiest. Enjoy!!

Rained all day but the boys played with their new toys. Drones flying all around. Video games going on. Dinner is done, folks went home. It was a very good day.

It has rained all day here too.

Brother left around 4 to go home.

I'm a bit worried about my dad. He started running a low grade fever Monday evening. 100, took some Tylenol and went to bed.

Woke up Tuesday, went to work an fever went back up that afternoon. Took Tylenol, went to bed.

Wednesday morning, he went to work with a low grade fever, it climbed to 101 during the day.

Tylenol brought it down to 99.7 but he had to take it during the night.

Thursday he went to work with 100 degree temp and went to the doctor that afternoon.

They gave him antibiotics, a steroid shot and told him to go home and go to bed.

His temp is staying between 100 and 103 even with Tylenol and Advil.

He doesn't have any other symptoms.

The fever is making him feel bad but other than that, nothing.

Could it be the flu, lily?

#2 has had a lingering cough from a cold all week. Waking us up every morning around 3, then we all go back to sleep until 7 or 8. Wipes us all out.

 Nope. Tested negative for flu, strep and something else. 

I'm sorry to hear about #2. 

Those lingering coughs can make you miserable.

Made it to Vegas. Had lunch at a Brazilian steakhouse - YUM!

Condo is nice but could be cleaner. Almost finished washing bedding and towels since they use a detergent I am allergic to.

Merry Christmas everyone! I wanted to let you all know... It's a Girl! I have an extremely, beautiful new grandbaby girl! lol! We are so thrilled and in awe of her. I have to say that this was probably my best Christmas ever! Oh and I got the greatest gifts of all time.  I was showered with gifts.  I believe my gift registry on facebook was a success!  lol. aww

Thank you!  Mom is doing great.  Baby was born on Tuesday at 2:27 AM and they all managed to make it over for Xmas Eve.  My oldest son flew in from Florida and surprised her.  It was an awesome day.  Merry Christmas to you and your family!  It looks like it was a great holiday for my geeks all around.  smile

Thank you! It was and is the best Christmas ever!  You are right.  This baby is the most wonderful gift of all for all of us.  It's really been amazing.  I got to see her come into this world and that in itself was an absolute miracle.  I'm speechless.  And my son came home and is spending the next week here.  We are all off work.  It's fantastic! aww  Merry Christmas to you and your family!
