I am going shopping. I have to look at some appliances for the bathroom and I do need outdoor xmas lights so will see what is left in the stores. I can handle it. I didn't step a foot into a mall in the past 2 months.

In other bad news, there is a brush fire in Cali that is threatening the family beach house. Prayers would be welcomed. My cousin grabbed the art (his father is an artist) and evacuated.

The fire is on the news here. Even the Pacific Coast highway is closed.

Taking my parents to the airport today after lunch. It was a great visit. DD is staying one more day. I think we will just sit around and be lazy today - other than the airport run. We toyed with hitting up MOA, but no one wanted to risk the insanity once they realized how crazy it might be.

I am up early for a Saturday. DH is still sleeping. Cirque de Solei tonight, Beatles Love. Need to go grocery shopping, there is a Trader Joes we are going to. Rest of the day is wide open.

I got up at 9:40! I haven't slept that late in forever! We are going to see Star Wars today and then going to Trader Joes.

I hope you all had a wonderful Merry Christmas yesterday. It was a tech free day for us - none of us got on the computer or internet even once! LOL!

Eight o'clock came way to soon this morning. Still dragging, but the coffee is good.

FNW, sending a prayer that the beach home is safe.

Wish Star Wars was close enough for me to go see it.

Today DH plans on watching ALL the football he possibly can! That's after he shovels the five inches of snow off the deck and walkways.

The roads are awful, so I am not venturing out at all.

DD is sick. She makes number six hit with the bug this week.

Family will be here this afternoon. Yay, we will get rid of left overs!

Sounds like everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Hope everyone can enjoy the weekend with family and friends. :)

Sounds like everyone had a nice Christmas. FNW Just said a Prayer for protection for your beach house. Hope you miss the bug that is going around in your family Czech. MM, I'm glad you had a nice visit with your family. Jbear I hope you have fun in vegas. I'm just laying around and just doing laundry. Had a nice Christmas. My husband really loves me. He gave me a new laptop computer and a trip to Ca. for Christmas. I'm so excited!

We all stayed up late last night. Watching movies and playing games.

Everyone slept in. Even dad.

Might go out for a burger tonight. Might not.

Prayers said for Czechs daughter and FNW's summer house.

Last of the rain rolled through around 3 this morning.

Sun was out but it looks more rain is trying to come in.

I ventured to Costco with an acquaintance who has a car. Was there when the doors opened at 0900 and was out at 0915. My acquaintance took longer. It was not too crowded and there were no lines at the register when I checked out. It was a rather pleasant experience. smile

The only reason I didn't was, she had another child with her. He looked to be 5 or 6.

Yep, I went to Sam's. Same thing. It was so refreshing after enduring the crowds the past month.
