Fitful Friday

It's my Friday off! I have a few errands to run, I think i will do the grocery shopping today too. It's supposed to be nasty rainy/snowy this weekend.

Yes. You are.

I wanted to take the kids a time or two but it is a very long drive for us.

But I love the laser show and fireworks they do in the Summer.

Stone Mountain has always been a favorite place of mine.

It was on Mysteries of the Museum last night.

It had to do with Superman, the clan and the guy who exposed the clan.

I might try to get the front yard raked up today.

I finally broke down and hired the gardener to remove our leaves. Best $300 ever spent. They come out several times over the course of the season and remove and haul away. Not a leaf or pine needle in sight.

I think you have a lot more trees and leaves than we do, FNW.

We only have one tree in the backyard.

None in the front yard. I just have to rake up what blew in from the neighbor's trees. smile

I went to the planetarium last night to see two IMAX shows...Dark Universe, narrated by Neil Degrasse Tyson and Aurora.

It really was. You really felt like you were up in the space station. The first theatre had beanbag chairs you could lie down on, and just float off into space. The second was the Aurora Borealis. Stunning.

Oh that sounds great. I've only seen IMax once it was super cool. It was at the air & space museum & it felt like you were actually flying.

Thanks, FWM. Yes, it has been very frustrating trying to get this quilt finished, and it will be such a relief when it IS finished.

The next quilt is a simple pattern compared to this one. (huge sigh of relief) wink

Making a quilt is usually fun, and this one has been fun...most of the time.

Oh, I let every call go to voicemail. And then I usually respond a few hours later via email.

He broke his scanner but won't admit that he broke it. He left a message that it won't work. And he wants me to fix it from 30 miles away. HAHAHA. Not going to happen. I told him to email how it was not working and what else was going on but I probably won't be able to fix it until I was there on Tuesday. He has the patience of a gnat. It is my little revenge to not respond right away and make him wait.

He really needs to accept the fact that I am looking for another position and will not be readily available to him. That is the true problem. He is very dependent on my but won't admit it. I have been giving him fair warning that I am leaving and it is coming to a realistic end soon since I now have my AA and cert.
