The swelling has gone down. Now I have a pretty light black spot on my wrist. I'm just glad it was a needle and not one of the rusty nails on the box. It's an old old old ammo box. Got it from dad's house. Was probably his dad's. No clue where the sewing needle came from.

Have fun SS! I think we are going to go see The Revenant today. That looks pretty interesting. Man vs nature and survival, etc.

Hey yall.

NJN, happy day to both you and your SS.

SB, glad your arm is getting better.

Gaga, enjoy the movie.

FWM and Momala, good day to you both.

1.3 billion dollars is the jackpot this morning.

Mom and dad came in last night.

It's 36 and that nasty little "s" word is in our forecast.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Happy birthday, NJN and SS.

Hope all who are sick are feeling better today.

It is really, really cold out there this morning. A brisk -9 this morning, with a wind chill of -18. Just how I love to start the day. :(

Have the kids over for pizza in a bit. We plan to watch the Vikings game together. Glad we are not at that game. It may be the coldest playoff game in history today. Ouch! Hope that works in the Vikings favor.

Boy, did the Bengals throw their game away.. no

Stay warm folks.

The Pats don't have to play in the playoffs this week.  They are that good.  aww

My doors were frozen shut. My scraper was in the trunk, which I could not get open. I could only find 1 glove. I used a hard plastic spatula to scrape the ice from my windows & of course the handle broke.

But I made it to work.

Happy birthday, NJN and her SS!

Sunny here and in the 50's. A nice breeze, too. It's been so long since we had sun I forgot what it looked like.

That sucks.  This is why I love my garage and the fact that at work we have a parking garage.

Yay! One of my most favourite movies in the whole world was on last night.
The original Pan's Labyrinth, in Spanish. What a fabulous movie! It's about the Spanish Civil War.... and fantasy. Beautifully done!

Happy Birthday, NJN!!

It's 52 degrees and raining hard. IKWTDS, it's probably headed your way. Stay dry.

Spouse just fell asleep. She's planning to get up in 3 hours and go back to plotting to record TV shows.

She's been up for about 18 hours...

I don't like the side effects of Sudafed, but it seems I need to keep taking it if I want to keep breathing cry.

This too shall pass, this too shall pass, this too shall pass ....

Ed. You're still having problems? That isn't right. You need to go back to the doctor. You need xrays and an inhaler.

It's -8 right now. Been cold all day. Actually, my feet are freezing but the rest of me is ok.

Went out with DH's staff to the local bar to watch the Vikings game. Should have stayed home. What a mess.

I'm glad that she hopped on Wayne's lap, all 70 + pounds of her.

(And that look on Wayne's face? That's what happens, when the 70+ dog hits your, ummm, tender parts, when she hops up.)wink

I have a permanent, 20-22 pound growth that goes by Monster. He is usually, always on my lap when I am sitting.

And it doesn't matter where I am sitting.

Question. Do your dog's want to be in your lap when you're on the potty?

Monster does.

No. I don't indulge him.

And mock us, as we get out of the shower.wink

Bathroom is upstairs, so Corgi doesn't follow. However, the door doesn't properly latch, and my mom's beagle will occasionally break in. When I'm in the shower. So I step out of the shower and the door is wide open. With a beagle sitting in the hallway looking at me like "WTF are you looking at B?"
