I would also like to suggest that no one click on a link on FB or email unless they know for sure it is not a spam link. Even if it looks like it is from a trusted friend.

General clue - if the "article" ends with "call us for information" and a phone number; it's an ad.

 That is subjective.  An ad is an ad, and that is spam.  We're not going to make exceptions for what a few may find interesting.
