TOTALLY GEEKED!

I have guessed right in the last three elections even when I didn't vote for the person that won. I am not quite sure yet who will be next. This year is very different. I do know that back when we had fifty bazillion people running I told my DH to "mark my words" that the Repubs would come down to Trump, Cruz, and Rubio. I have always liked Carson but knew he wouldn't make it. I've also liked Carly but knew she wouldn't make it. I think she or Carson would both make good VP's. I think some of it will depend on what the Dems do. I don't think they predicted Hillary doing as badly as she is. When Lois Lerner was going through all that IRS stuff DH told me she was going to jail. I told him there was no way she was going to jail. He insisted. I told him no. Sure enough, she didn't. And I promise you Hillary won't do a day in jail. Not one minute. Here's how Washington works. When a big bad thing comes up they all scramble and have endless committee meetings about it. They question everyone and everything. After they all get their 15 minutes of fame they all go behind closed doors to talk about it. Then what happens is it is put on the "back burner" for awhile. Next, another big scandal breaks and the first scandal silently fades away. Washington is not held accountable to the same standards that you and I are.

One day SS and I were standing in the grocery store check out line. He was reading all the rag mags and he was asking if Hillary was going to go to jail. At the time there was some other celeb who was in trouble. I told him that no, people in Hollywood and in Washington don't have to suffer the same punishment that he and I did. I told him it wasn't right and it wasn't fair but that's the way life is. It shouldn't be that way but it is. It's sad our world has become like this.

I'm waiting to see what this new stunt with Trump does. I think it will come down to Trump or Cruz for sure. I don't think things are over for Cruz though because there are still a bunch of people in the race. Those that support Huckabee and some of the others are VERY conservative and I just don't see them moving over to the Trump camp. I think they'll move over to the Cruz side when the other people start falling out. The RNC consists of a bunch of stupid people. They're just going to run the person they think will win. They may talk a good game but when push comes to shove they just want to win.

For the first time I think the Dems are in real trouble though. I don't know if they plan on running Hillary but if they do she'll lose. And the only reason people like Sanders is because he's NOT Hillary.

Give me a few weeks and I'll tell you.
