Yay! At least one of us is together! I'm busy chasing all the crazy in my life and eating popcorn. I took a sick day today because I figured I would just lose my temper over the crazy and I couldn't bear to deal with one more bit of it. So I spent the day napping and cuddling the dog. And now work wants me to do OT tomorrow and I'm like HEEEEEEEELLLLLLL no!!!

Don't wanna, can't make me! Still recovering from all the OT over Christmas and New Years. Not setting foot in that place if I don't have to!

I think it's maybe a little of both. You're there and he wants you to get better and love on him and feed him. But if you die he can eat you and be okay too. biggrin

Very sad story from Indy:

An elementary school principal was killed when a school bus jumped the curb yesterday afternoon. She pushed students out of the way. No reason has been given for the sudden acceleration of the bus. Two 10-year old students are still in the hospital.

3 hour delay here....but I'll be on time working from home. DH is taking the boys to my parents, to get them out of the house and because my parents miss them. A win-win.

When I was pregnant with DS, I had a bad stomach bug. We lived in a 2-story townhouse & one of the cats stayed next to my bed & would not go downstairs to eat.

Hmmm. Toss up. If I go to work early they feed me lunch. Of course, if I go at the regular time I can just steal leftovers out of the fridge . . . so either way I get lunch. Not going early.

Third day with no voice, and a hacking cough that can be heard at the other end of the house. DH is trying to keep me hydrated. If I don't feel measurably better by this afternoon, I'll call the doctor. Pepper, my 21 y/o cat has not left my side in two days - either sleeping ON me or snuggled into the small of my back. That extra ounce of warmth feels SOOO good.

I am just exhausted. I think I will nap after work every day since I get off at 3, but then get home and things just catch my attention and before I know it, it is too late to think of a nap. But it is catching up with me. so today may be my day yawnnnnn

nothing too exciting going on for me, just living life along LOL

Our downstairs is coming along great, my husband has almost all the sheetrock up on areas that didn't have it. half of new stuff he just put up is tape and textured and painted already. exciting times I tell you.

I heard that. It was just a terrible, horrible accident. I heard the bus lurched forward. Perhaps the transmission needed work but still within safety metrics.

Lindley, all is good. I had been planning on making this trip for a week. Thought I couldn't go & then everything came together at once. I should have done this weeks ago!
