In some ways yes. I wanted to get married have kids, own a home, and a good job. In some ways no. I wanted to either live in So.California or Texas, instead I live in the Midwest. Hated it with the fire of a thousand suns the first few years but it's ok now.
Are you surprised by where you live?
Yes and no. I didn't grow up thinking I'd move out of SoCal. I chose to live in AZ though so there was no surprise.
What you do?
Yes. I never expected to be a SAHM. I also never expected my body to be giving out on me so early in life.
Did you plan to have the number of kids you have?
No. I never wanted bio-kids. I do NOT regret having DS. DH and I plan on adopting at some point. Not sure if we'll have more bio-kids.

I assumed how my life would turn out, not really planned how it would be, which is not what happened. I wouldn't trade anything for being able to go back and back different decisions because I would be too afraid I would lose the good things I have such as my kids.

What state do you live in?
flan
Missouri
Mom & Dad lived in Lee's Summit, a suburb of Kansas City.
We drove I-70 through the state lots of times when they were alive.
I didn't end up like my mom either so you can add me to that club.

I realized years ago that my mom was simply not capable of showing affection (at least not the way most people do). And that was likely because of HER mother.
