Well, I'm finally up, showered and ready for a cold blustery day. I do feel better today! Thanks for all the well wishes! Hope everyone with a bug is on the mend as well.
Little man is improving as well. He's eating bananas for breakfast, his favorite food. :)

OMG! I just rode the elevator up. The thing started shaking and bobbing up and down. Doors opened a foot above the floor. I jumped out. I'm still shaking.

I said a few OMGs. I was afraid it would fall down 5 floors and crash, although my fireman friend told me years ago that there are mechanisms in place that prevent that from happening.

I am still shaking a little. I don't care for elevators either. And the ones in my building always seem to be malfunctioning. One morning I stepped in and hit the button for my floor. Doors closed, lights went out. Pitch black. Creepy.

I just had a completely screwed up lunch. I brought a Stouffers frozen dinner. Welsh Rarebit only there was no bread in it. It did not specifically say I needed to add my own bread. So basically I ate half a bowl of cheese sauce for lunch. It was tasty cheese sauce but I feel a little gaggy now.

I love cheese but enough is enough. It is just odd that they didn't note it was sauce only. I mean they tell me to be careful when removing film & contents will be hot & other obvious things. It's funny because my coworker said she had one in her freezer & was glad I made the mistake before she did because she assumed the bread was included too.

Excited! Kids Club at the mall starts up tomorrow! February's theme is The Arctic. DS will be learning about polar bears, penguins, and other Arctic creatures. I thoroughly enjoyed Kids Club when I was a kid and I hope DS enjoys it too.

There are no penguins in the Arctic. Penguins only live in the southern hemisphere.

I didn't know penguins weren't found in the Arctic. The pic has penguins in it. It's a polar theme so perhaps they're including Antarctica too.

If they mention penguins living in the Arctic, I'll let them know.

It's true. You'll never find polar bears and penguins living in the same place.

You WILL find penguins in South Africa on the beaches, but never in the Arctic.

Ok, I'm gonna gag. What was this?

Welsh rarebit is a cheese sauce that has worstershire & other seasonings. It is quite yummy but it is served over toast. This didn't include the toast & didn't say so on the box. The picture on the box showed toast. So I ended up with a bowl of cheese sauce for lunch.

I haven't seen it. I'm not a big fan of M Night Shyamalan . But it sounds like an interesting premise. I'd watch it if it came on cable.
