I have two sick cows, and I am not sure why. Had the vet out for Keepsake, and he doesn’t know what is wrong with her, and now Darling is sick.
BUT, they haven't been in the same barn for months.
Keepsake is considerably worse. Maybe it is two different things, and just coincidence it is happening at the same time.

I can't sleep. Carlee is doing better but the lawn service was out yesterday and mowed our grass. Now Layla's allergies are acting up and she's broken out in hives. We have to go pre register DH at the hospital today, then have another appointment. DH promised to do DN's taxes tonight and DS has to be somewhere too. I also need to go to the store at some point. I think it's going to be a busy day.

We had our First Communion meeting last night. Threw off our schedule. I didn't get enough sleep. Neither did #2, by the sound of his crankiness.

On the plus side, snow has melted enough that I can keep my appt. with the landscaper to design the front yard tomorrow!

Are they back to doing a lot of the Sacraments in first grade? (Reconciliation & Communion, and maybe one more?)

Second grade, flan. They made Reconciliation a couple weeks ago and will make First Communion in April. Confirmation is later.

That little girl at the school died of asphyxia. Apparantly, she fell on the monkey bars and hit just right, causing her to be unable to breathe.

Thanks. When I was in elementary school (The Dark Ages), we did too much in first grade. I didn't understand most of it.

Right. It's changed a lot, flan. These meetings are more to educate the parents on the changes because it's so different. They really focus more on substance than just memorization. It's almost becoming, dare I say, more protestant. I was a little uncomfortable at first, but now I'm starting to really like it. I've learned more about the bible than I ever learned from 9 years of CCD.

Sounds like a tragic, freak accident, LL. So very sad.

The boys outgrew peppa pig several years ago.

Catechism was 100% memorization. Totally meaningless to a young child...

I remember it changing when I was in high school (way overdue).

This is a big deal because I started my new BC last night. The last couple have made me so sick. I was scared to try the new one, but so far so good.

Still deciding on what kind of birthday cake to make Gordito on Sunday. I am thinking 2 layer vanilla with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles on top.

And one of the girls in the office told me that after this year, my gyno might be retiring.

Well, G is on his way to Brazil. Right in the middle of the Zika Virus central. He's going to have to be in long sleeves and pants in 90 degree weather for the next week. He is NOT looking forward to this...

I just had to change eye doctors due to my insurance changing. Ticked me off at first but I really liked the new lady. I have a genetic disease that affects my eyes and she was so educated on it. In 50 years I have never had such superior attention as I got at the new office. I started crying while there because I wanted to call my dad and tell him all about it.

I just got over 40 pages of documents I need to read and fill out for part of my father's stuff. MY head is going to explode. I learned what a medallion signature guarantee is though.....

Sorry SB, it sucks to have to deal with that stuff. If you find yourself overwhelmed, put the document down. You want to read it thoroughly and do it right the first time.

I left work at 5. I still had so much to do, but I just wanted to go home. I came home, made one of my meals for dinner and am eating watching TV. Oh my goodness, dinner is so good. And feels so good to be home to eat it

It feels SO GOOD to be home!!

Yet at the same time, I miss little man. He cried himself to sleep after I left, DS said he was so upset.

The roads were really good despite the storm. The towns, on the other hand, were a mess. People were stuck and getting their cars pushed out in the Walmart parking lot. I almost kicked myself for going there, but we needed supplies at home. I was so grateful to leave!

Followed duel snowplows forever... and some nut passed us on the wrong side!!!

It was crazy in some areas.

I can tell home missed me. Yup, the home. It will have to wait until tomorrow for attention.

I have already put a meatloaf and baked potatoes in the oven.

A large glass of wine is on the short list for tonight.

I am feeling better today. Just a nasty cold and all that goes with it. I'll live.

Xray shows no broken or fractured bones for Monster.

He is starting to use it just a little. Not walking on it but he will put it for balance now and then.
