We made no plans this week due to DH's surgery. So we'll be home.

I better get to bed and try to sleep. The shot is keeping me awake, but my body needs rest.
Early start in the morning coming up fast.
Shot for what? Did I miss something?
I'm going to regret not clearing the driveway until I get home tonight but I just don't have it in me. now if the school system would only have a delayed opening, then I would but I need to get into the office so unless that happens I will leave on time.

Czech got another shot in her butt because she waits far too long to go to the doctor when she's sick!
Czech, Jesse got a shot last night too. And a super strong cough medicine. I was worried he would be up all night but he slept like a log. Hope you feel better today.

DG, I feel for you. I remember working for 15 and 20 days in a row.
Take care of yourself.

I really do not want to get the boys to school just to have to turn around and go back to get them.

Hello everyone! I hope all the sickies get better! #2 is home with me today. He's better, but just wanted him to have him rest one more day and since I work from home today anyway, it wasn't an imposition. My parents are sick now, so I'll probably try to work from home tomorrow as well so they can get better and I can pick the boys up after school. We'll see. #1 & I might be coming down with it as well. It's snowing here, but the roads are just wet.
I decided to go check the boys out when the temps started falling. On the way the robo call came to say schools were closing early.
So we are back home now.
Hopefully Caitlyn will get to home before things start freezing up.

The cycle never seems to end, does it?
Hope everyone gets better.

How old is he, Lindley? Naps were not an option in my house. Mommy needed her down time.
4 months. He knows all the tricks and seems like cat naps revives him. He does sleep all night though so that is a big plus for his parents. The other babies who I cared for wasn't to great at naps either at his age but took better naps when they got a little older. I think I'm spoiling him.

My kids did cat naps too.
And slept at night.

IMHO, from my kids and the grand's, a four month old should be taking a late morning nap and a mid afternoon nap, and still sleep all night.
Maybe turn off lights, turn down the TV or provide soothing music. Good luck.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
I want my lunch. I have spaghetti. Not even homemade or anything. I opened a jar of Ragu & added parm cheese on top but it tasted so good. I was craving it for some reason when I was sick but the tomato sauce burned the heck out of my sore throat so I couldn't eat it. Weird, I know.
Last night was night #3 of DS sleeping in his big boy bed and the easiest night yet. I take the baby gate down when I wake up so he can just come out when he gets up. It's so cute to see him amble out of his room rubbing his eyes then flashing a smile before proclaiming he's hungry.

Mine may have taken three maps at that age, every 2 or 3 hours. Although each child is different, at 4 months they should definitely be napping. Just keep putting him in his crib, turn on some lullaby music, and leave the room.
For some reason my SS always really like FNW's shoe avatars.

DH got up early. I think because he slept so much yesterday. Woke me up later with coffee. We need to run into town and pick up a present for SS for Valentines day.
