Hope everyone has a good one.  We have no plans.  I need to catch up on a few things here.  DG, what meal service are you using?  You've said you really like them and I'm thinking about looking into them.

Great Day. At the Tax Office at 0830 and filed my return for 2015. Will get back about $700.00 in a couple of weeks, if it goes like usual. All other State, local, etc. taxes are figured off of this return so nothing else to do until next year. Always glad when this is finished...

Filed mine the other night Karl. Switching jobs mid year really through my tax planning off. I try to keep my deductions level so I don't owe or get a refund, don't want the gov't using my money for free! Didn't happen this past year. Started tackling DS' last night. I still need a lot of info from him.

and we have another school delay. We had about 4" of snow overnight topped with some rain so it is all ice on top of the snow.

Would they really fire him for being out sick?

No, but I still worry. He's used up all his sick time. He has a doctor's note saying that he was cleared to return to work yesterday.

Schools closed today. Freezing rain made for icy roads. Last night DH went out and said it was a skating rink.

When I lived in WV, we used to get a lot of ice. Thick ice. 20 minutes of car running to be able to see out the windshield thick. Anyway, I used to put on my ice shoes and sprint across the parking lot. Others saw me, didn't know I was wearing spikes, and didn't know there was ice. Slip and fall. HAHAHA.

Anyways, I use Hello Fresh NJN. I like it. Food is yummy, portions are generous.

It's a rodent Tuesday?

Ok.

We have moles.

They like the front flower bed.

They get to playing under the mulch and the ground looks alive.

It warmed up. It 46 and feels 57.

Going to Hobby Lobby today. I am just going to exchange something. Nothing else. I swear!

Jesse has a meeting with VR about college and developing an education plan.

Then it's back home.

Morning everyone. We had late arrival today because of the snow/ice. I had yesterday off already for President's day so this little storm was more of an annoyance than anything.

Anyone have recommendations for creating photo books that can be printed out? All my photos are currently stored in Amazon Prime Photo, but i want to print out a book for each year of Gordito's life.

Thanks DG, I was looking at them yesterday.

Bonny, we made some books for my DH for his birthday. I can look up what service we used. We got them free. I think I paid $2 for shipping and handling.

Later I'll look at the books we made.  We did them for his birthday.  One of all the dogs and one of all the kids.  They came out really adorable.  I'll have to find the books and see what site they came off of.  DN joined it and gets free book coupons all the time.  Then there was the other site I used to make LGS calendar at Christmas.  The calendar was free except for shipping but I also made her an ornament which wasn't free.  Totally worth it though.  I'll find that site too and send them both to you.  I think if you join the sites they periodically send you coupons for free stuff.  You may only have to pay the shipping but worth it.  DN is always crafting some free item.  I know the site I used for the calendar seemed more user friendly than the other one.  But then again you actually know what you're doing so you shouldn't have a problem with it!

You know you're a parent when you buy your kid a present for your birthday. Grandma wanted DS for the night yesterday and I saw something DS would like while DH and I were out so we picked it up. He's now the proud owner of a new toy skillet that came with hot dogs and chips. Two of his favorite foods. He's going to be a very happy boy when he gets home.

I can't believe I'm going to be 33 tomorrow. Almost halfway through my 30s. My Grandpa really nailed it when he said time flies after you turn 21. DS will be 3 this year. Can't believe that either.

I'm debating about asking Grandma if she wants to keep DS for tonight too. DH and I need to go through the storage unit and that will be easier without DS helping.

It's mid-February and the high is 87 today. Currently 72. Winter, my azz. But very typical for AZ.

DS is doing a great job adjusting to his big boy bed. He really likes being able to just come out of his room in the mornings without having to call out for us to let us know he's awake. I'm really loving just sitting on the couch and seeing my little man pop out of his room then climb up next to me for snuggles.

 Thanks :)

Getting married and having a kid forced me to grow up and do so quickly. 2013 was a hard year for me. I don't like change and getting married was hard enough. Having to adjust to a new marriage and kid was hard.

Now if I could figure out where my memory went, we'd be good! I left my folder at Walmart last night and it didn't get turned in. It's probably gone forever. No big deal. Just an annoyance. I didn't realize I left it until a few minutes ago.

I just might. I have the ingredients for a chocolate dump cake and haven't got around to making it yet.

I found a recipe for chicken parm in a spaghetti squash. I think I'll make that too.

I think it will be. The chicken breasts I thought I had sprouted legs and walked off but I have chopped chicken thighs and meatballs so I think I'll make a mash up of chicken parm and meatball parm. I'm weird, lol!

Dump cake? What on earth is that? Cake you find at a dump? Sounds rather peculiar.

No mixing, just dumping stuff in a pan. I think I made one years ago.
