All in all, a fun day. Bible study was edifying. Spent some time with G. Now to enjoy the last few minutes of my birthday and go to bed.

I sure had an interesting end to my birthday though. Our friend G, DH, DS, and I went to Portillo's since they sent me an email for a free slice of cake for my birthday. As we were getting ready to leave, the employee cleaning the dining area asked if DS was an accident or planned. DH and I were both shocked. DH played it off as a joke but was still taken aback.

I didn't speak to a manager as I don't feel the employee should get in trouble. I did send an email when I got home stating what happened and suggesting that proper customer interaction be covered in the next meeting. I would hate for that employee to say such a thing to someone else and get his head ripped off.
