It will be gone before we know it.

Convincing myself to get out of bed. Not sure what I'll do today. I am not going to work, putting that off until tomorrow. It's supposed to be almost 60 today, need to find a way to enjoy that.

Have a great day all!

We are also jumping up to around 60 today. Yesterday was a high of around 38.

Need to start breakfast so I can finish(start) schoolwork. I want to be mostly done before we head to a friend's party tonight.

It sounds like a nice day for us, too.

Maybe the zoo?

We'll see.

Have a good Saturday, everyone.smile

Got called into work just as I was stepping out of the shower. Rushed here only to find out we have to wait two hours for a sales rep to bring something.

Finally getting my oil changed. I've been trying to get here for at least a month. Next picking up lunch and heading to a friends house.

I've already been to Subway today. I picked up sub trays yesterday for a meeting at work. When I was putting my receipt on my expense report this morning, I realized they only charged me for one instead of two. So, I went back and paid for the second. The manger thanked me multiple times and looked shocked I came back. What a sad commentary on society that it's a surprise I came back to pay.

Just got back from the urgent care. I haven't been sick all winter and now that it's getting nice out, I have bronchitis. I got a breathing treatment in the office and I feel much better already. Got my RX filled for an inhaler and some cough medicine. I am about to get loopy! ☺️

Oh, not good MM! Not good at all!

Not sure if this is the right place for this but I'll put it here. If one of the mods wants it moved I will. I think some of you will remember awhile back when DH and I let a friend of mine come and live here. She had a long history of drug addiction but was, at the time, clean. She had no where else to go and wanted to get her life together so we offered to help her. If you remember (long story short) we loaned her some money to pay off traffic tickets. I had to DH NOT to give her the money but instead a money order. She took the money and went and bought drugs. We kicked her out the next day. We have not seen or heard from her since. Today an old friend of mine called. She is on life support for a meth overdose. She also has a severe infection in her leg and they had to cut her leg open from the ankle to the thigh. They cannot sew it up at this point because it is so infected. Her mom is in a home with dementia. She is too far gone to be able to understand. She has two sisters who had written her off but are now trying to help with long term placement IF she survives this. As angry as I was/am with her I am heartbroken her life has come to this. Yes, it's of her own making but it's still incredibly sad.

So. DH has been told countless times to NOT fill DS' cup all the way full. He and DS share a tray table. Guess who just got treated to an orange juice bath for his fish sticks?

I plan on watching it. Hopefully it's good.

Put DS in his room for a nap because he was turning sour and rubbing his eyes. He protested for a good 20 minutes and is now sound asleep buried amongst his stuffed animals. I'm not sure how he can sleep with so many stuffed animals in his bed but my Grandma said I did the same thing at his age.

It's chocolate AND good for a sore throat!

 Caitlyn did that.

She still has a bunch of stuff on her bed.

You should snap a picture. It's cute when they do that.

I wish someone would put me in my room for nap time.

I'm starving. Been at work since 9. I did eat breakfast about 7 hours ago. Leaving in about 15 minutes. I will treat myself with takeout since I've got 8 hours call back pay, Cha ching!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday activities.

Too bad, I'd love to meet you.

DS1 just got here. Carvel cake is safely in the freezer for now.

Spouse has been busy all day planning TV recordings, like she does almost all day every day.

I diagnosed a no-start problem with her car ...

The positive battery clamp wasn't tight enough.

DS had a no-start problem and I told him to check that ... he did, eventually.

Both Camry's had the same problem. (It's not a Toyota problem, it can be a problem with any car. When the clamp isn't positioned and tightened properly, the car will run when jumped, but the battery doesn't get charged.)

DS's car had the problem after the let headlight was replaced. I suspect that the service person disconnected that battery (which is right behind the left headlight) so it was easier and safer to get at the back of the bulb.. Then didn't put it back correctly.

With Spouse's Camry, the only suspect would me ....

me. Oops.

Fixed it, the car is fine now.

I'd like to put on "21+", that is a 2 and a 1 and a plus sign.
