Since it seems that many of us are either recovering or practicing Catholics, what name did you take at Confirmation and why?

I chose Ruth. That has always been my favorite book of the Bible. I knew from an early age that I wanted to be like Ruth. She is still my role model. I strive to be like her. 

How about you?

And, my confirmation sponsor was named Anne.

I didn't know you took a name. I was raised in the Methodist church, we did not take a new name at confirmation.

We don't do that in Pentecostal churches. But this verse melts my heart.

 Yes. Quebec used to be a bastion of Catholicism. We have cathedrals everywhere.

We have an exact replica of St. Peter's (Vatican) downtown.
