Been planning and buying for and crafting this 50th anniversary party thing since January.
The original colors were white, gold and accents of blue.
Mom changed her mind, wanted purple.
Two weeks to D-day and she buys a dress with blue for the ceremony.
She picks out the cake, doesn't take a swatch of the purple, she matched it "as best she could".
And she's still inviting people!

Just let her know there is a limit to the food and if she wants to invite more people that is fine but she will have to pony up for more food. Then let it go...

My brother is handling the food.
It may look more like a half time spread than a reception but I've spent so much on invites, decorations, photography, plates and stuff like that and time. Lots and lots of time.
We still have a lot to do.
I delegated the food.
