I have this new coworker. She just moved to the area with her b/f to help a sick family member. The longer she works with us the more she tells on herself. So, she's living with this man that she's been with for a while. She suspects he is cheating on her. Lots and lots of red flags. Instead of just dumping him she stresses out all day texting him to see what he's doing. Then he gets off a few hours before she does so she's always trying to leave early to rush home and catch him. She will go on and on about how badly he treats her and then make excuses. Grrr!!

Based on if he is cheating, and most of the time, if you suspect it, they are.
Cheaters are trash.
Always have been, always will be.

He is off work 3 hours before her but refuses to account for his time. He won't have sex (they are late 40's). She finds double the dishes from breakfast. He doesn't use coffee creamer but hers is being used quicker than she uses it. He's not accounting for money spent. When she questions things she's "crazy". He got unrealistically angry when he saw a female friend chatting with a man at a bar.

Yeah, he could be cheating--and IF he is, I have no issues with Lily's characterization--but we don't really know.

Well, I could agree with you--but then we'd both be wrong.

If she sets up a nanny cam, she will probably find him with is other sex partner(s).
What if you ASK her if she WANTS to be treated badly?
