If you have trouble sleeping, I recommend reading some scholarly journals. I have to analyze two of them and keep falling asleep by the second page.
Any advise on how to actually read these things without falling asleep? I can't take any more caffeine.

Read them during the day, preferably outside in the fresh air, with bright sun in the sky (but you covered in shade, of course).

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
