So along with the new flooring I had the wood trim replaced. I just finished caulking the gaps between the walls and trim. I love caulking. It's something I can do myself so for the cost of a container of caulk and a cheap sponge the rooms and hallway really look finished.
A painter I had hired a few years ago left me his caulk. His gun is really firm so made for nice even caulking.

I wish I could caulk. DH can. My father does a better job, however. And he loves to do it. It's a joke in the family. My mom tells him to whip his caulk out (pronounced ****) and run it along her cracks. I know, we're crazy.
I have had dreams of caulking lately, but my plumbing is all wonky right now, so caulking is kinda out of the question due to the plumbing anxiety. I mean, I think I might wanna caulk, and then I start to think about the plumbing problems getting in the way or causing embarrassment and I totally freeze up and just cant get up the courage. Meanwhile, the caulk dreams continue.
