I just found out that IKEA is changing colors on the Raskog cart and getting rid of the turquoise. Arrrgggg! I LOVE that thing and constantly try to think of new uses as an excuse to buy more. I have to get to IKEA and see if they have any left before they are gone!
This should probably have been on the vent thread.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
I'm not a fan of Ikea. I think it's mostly overpriced pressboard stuff.
You do have to be careful of what you buy there. I have gotten cheap furniture and I have gotten some pieces that will stand the test time. My large wardrobe is made with quality construction.
i like that I can get 100 tea light candles for $3.50. I can get a good lunch for less than $10. Some of the textiles are good too. I like some of the quirky kitchen items. They have a lasagne style pan that fits in the toaster oven that is solid for cooking, not flimsy.

Thanks for the input.
They are building one north of Indy...opening this year or next, I forget which.
Never been in an Ikea. The commercials made me think of it like World Bizarre. We don't have one here.
Sun, sun, sun. Lots of sun for us today.
Thinking if I can get on the mower, I might mow. Need to get the outside table and chairs cleaned up but the pollen is so bad that it wouldn't really matter.
Happy Sunday!

flan started an Ikea thread. Never been there. Glad you had fun at the party. Pretty weather here too. I need to cut my lettuce. I have so much I don't know what to do with it!

Made it to MOA, had lunch, shopped a bit, and made it back. Now I am wasting a bit of time before I go to work. Can't wait to count inventory. Wooo hoo! It will be a party. Not.

You still have another bottle of wine, don't you?

I do! But I have to be back at work early tomorrow for a new employee. No wine for me until I get to my conference on Tuesday.

--------------
You can get a free slice of pizza this month when you turn in an old camera, cellphone or MP3 player for recycling.
Pizza Pizza is once again launching its Slices for Devices campaign in April, which is Earth Month. Anyone who brings in a small electronic device that they want to get rid of to a Pizza Pizza restaurant in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Nova Scotia will get a free cheese or pepperoni slice, the company announced Thursday.
For the second year, the company is also accepting bulk electronic waste or e-waste from schools and businesses. That includes larger items such computers and screens. In exchange, Pizza Pizza will provide a gift card toward a pizza lunch or party.
The e-waste collected will be recycled and refurbished with the help of the Electronic Products Recycling Association and Ontario Electronic Stewardship. Proceeds from refurbished products will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network, Pizza Pizza says.
E-waste is typically not accepted by landfills, as it often contains toxic metals. In many cities, e-waste can be dropped off at specific locations, including some stores, or at special waste collection events on specific dates. But that's not necessarily convenient. www.cbc.ca/news/technology/pizza-slices-for-devices-1.3516664
