At the airport waiting for my flight to NC. Big convention this week. It should be interesting. I have never been to one with this group before so we will see how it goes. It's on the campus of UNC so I am kind of glad they didn't win...it would have been crazy to get where I needed to go. Don't tell DH though - he is a lifelong UNC fan. 😁

 Bossman's son is a Professor at UNC.  He is also the head of the Director, The Parr Center for Ethics.  I still rooted for Villa Nova.  

Traffic is not that bad here but the team has not come home yet.  That will be this afternoon (or so I have heard).  They closed campus today and cancelled classes.

 I saw some pool toys online the other day and thought about your boys.

Those soaker noodles you put one end in the pool and pump the "trigger" to shot it. 

I've seen something like them at bumper boat places.

Damn. I spent the last 2 days trying so hard to save a man from foreclosure. It was very frustrating and it didn't work. Every time I posted I was sitting here on hold with Wells Fargo. Sucked.

 I feel particularly triumphant!

Arrived safely and met up with some coworkers at the airport so we split a cab. Turns out they decided we would all go on a store tour - an optional activity that I purposely didn't sign up for because I knew I would need my alone time. I got sucked into it. Urgh.

Finally got to the hotel - it's really nice. It's the nicest place I have ever stayed without my family. I feel a smidge guilty. Don't tell them. I have spread all my stuff out all over the room and I am hogging the pillows.

Dona, my DN got her pup and they did the same thing. Ava outgrew that collar in no time at all. They thought they were doing so well by buying a large collar that they could adjust smaller. Dang thing is straining at the seams of the large collar. They had to go buy a new one because the other one was just too tight.

 DH and I asked about that just to see what they use.  They don't use retarded anymore.  They say things like Developmentally Delayed with a diagnosis of Autism.  Or Physically disabled with a diagnosis of MS.  You get the point.  Anyway, he qualifies for services due to his Developmental Delay.  We've been on the waiting list to see a counselor for 18 months!  Today with met with them and did paperwork.  Now we have to wait some more.  When services become available he is eligible for them.  One guy was really really helpful.  He gets prescription coverage on Medicare because his dad is disabled.  He was just assigned to a Humana plan.  He only takes two meds.  Humana covered one of them and the other one is over two hundred dollars.  The guy asked us if we knew we could pick what plan he was on.  We were like "Uh no..."  So the guy went through the plans and put DS on a plan that now covers both his meds.  We will only have to pay $7 each a month for them.  And there is no charge for his Medicare.  But again, all he has is just prescription coverage.
