So the craziness on the highway yesterday: apparently DD and I were close to being involved. DD reminded me as we were driving down the highway that I remarked about a vehicle driving crazy and said "that's an accident waiting to happen". It was the perp apparently. He had stolen a car in Mass, then robbed a place in NH and headed down the highway and hit a few cars. He carjacked another car and I guess that is when he flew by me. 15 minutes later (after he turned around and started heading north) he caused the second accident with about 9 cars involved.

Phew!

Today is about cleaning organizing the garage!

Oh and pollen is high again today.

DS1 got me a Pandora charm for my birthday, but I already have it! I may drive to Jared this morning & see about exchanging it. I called & they said they had to verify his purchase. I'm not asking him for a receipt, so...yeah...

Jared usually has the information in their system, flan. Give them your son's name and they can look it up and verify. I do that with my jewelry which is purchased under my husband's name. But he has an account with them, so maybe that's why it works.

I'm getting over a cold I've had all week. DH is in a golf tournament, and the boys have their First Communion tonight. They wanted to skip taekwondo today and just veg all day. Fine with me. I have a lot to do around the house.

Thanks, FNW. That's what they told me too.

I think ~knocks on wood~ that my cold is finally gone, but this winter I've been sick more than I ever have. Getting old? Couldn't be! LOL

Morning.

Having toast, watching a little tv.

Need to run the trash to the dump.

Aaron has a movie date.

Not sure what else is going on.

Warm weather means that I can open the windows!

It also means that the dogs go crazy because our neighbor is cutting his grass...

Friday night is the best night for a sleepover.  They are already tired from the week.

Wow I just cleaned most of the garage. I have more to do put was able to pull out most of my records for shredding this week and put all the xmas decor totes on the shelves the records were. I have a car load of good "stuff" that I am bringing to Goodwill in a few minutes. Still have some items to put back in the garage but I worked for 2 hours. Once I have a few more items of furniture picked up I will be able to say that I have no unusable junk lying around.

I did a 5K this morning, and have done some normal chores around the house - nothing as exciting as IKWTDS. Next, we're going to play tennis this afternoon.

I finally exchanged my duplicate bead at Jared.

I give them a C- for customer serviced on this trip.

I decided to take my bracelet so the young blonde skinny clerk could see that I had spent money there. I chose my replacement, which was a bit more than the return.

I gave her my son's name, city he lived in, where it was sent (his brother's house) AND the fact that it was an ONLINE purchase. She couldn't find it. She looked perplexed, and said, "This is a Jared box."

I waited patiently.

She found it...apparently she didn't check ONLINE sales. I don't know, she seemed to be searching by the item number.

I'm going to send DS1 my wish list in case he buys another for Mother's Day.

I hate/despise/loathe driving to the nearest Jared store.

You should really find a small, local store that carries them. They will usually have wish lists and stuff you can file in their store, and they will keep track of what you already have.

So yesterday & today have been sunny & warm. High in the upper 70's. I love people watching during the transition times!

How many pairs of Uggs did I see today? How many winter coats?

Oh, and I even saw a pair of neon yellow leg warmers!

My DH has great luck with them in VA.  When I go in to have jewelry cleaned or repaired or inspected at the store in MD, I have problems as well.  I think it depends on where you go, and which gender you are.  They seem to fawn all over men who are making purchases.

Today has been beautiful.

Can't tell how many motorcycles and convertibles I saw out.

Windows down, radio up, just riding around.

Guess who got to go to the park with Itty bitty & DS2?

We took their dog & walked (short walk) to the shore of the lake.

It was just what I needed.
