Busy, busy weekend! Yesterday was chores, shopping and a 40th birthday party for a good friend. Today is a lodge social event of a theater show (Rumors by Neil Simon) and dinner buffet afterwards. MIL is coming too and will be spending the night.
It's a rainy day here. I love it.
I'm snuggled up with a blanket and a cat reading my book.

I made an omelette. now I need to shower. My cute neighbor is going to help bring the last bed I have to donate to Goodwill. He has a truck.

From my days of weight lifting, you have to give your muscles time to heal after exertion.
You did the 5k and didn't give yourself down time.
You were working under the influence of adrenaline.
You need motrin, protein and water.
And you need to do easy stretches.

It's a beautiful day here. I've been puttering, mostly cleaning those items that get dirty during the winter. Cleaned the sliders and the tracks plus all the trim work. Looks good. I've turned all the outside faucets on and replaced the down spout extenders. just been enjoying the day. So glad I did the push yesterday to get the garage and other heavy chores done. Since I cleaned the deck furniture I am outside enjoying the view. The woodpeckers are particularly active today and they are soo beautiful.

It's amazing. DS doesn't slow down even when he's sick. I've been running around so much the past couple weeks and it's caught up to me. I have zero energy. DH is energetic enough even though he's sick but is getting dizzy quickly.
I think the plagues in this house have caught up to me. Bleh.

I did 8 loads of laundry, hit the grocery store, cleaned the living room and the kitchen and gave the dog a bath. Oh, and I broke my toe at the grocery store. I kicked the wheel of the cart with my toe (flip flops) and its 3 shades of purple now. I just taped it and went on with my day. Now, I am ready for a bath.
