I just got a call from one of the vendors at the job fair. It was a bank. Now, I am not applying for a bank job nor am I opening a new account. Turns out, I won the "Guess how much change is in the jar" raffle. It was almost $30. They will double it if I open an account and deposit it. I don't need anymore bank accounts.

Taking a chill day today. Nothing got done over the past couple weeks. Between my parents wreck and DS and DH making multiple doctor visits, stuff just piled up. I'll work on excavating the apartment tomorrow. I'm sure there's a floor in the pile somewhere. But, for today, only the Rapture can move my behind off the couch.

Wow happy news all around, well except for the floods and the Chef's missing floor!
I've been having a very busy work week. But I have to say I love it! It isn't stupid or overwhelming busy. I've been getting a lot of thank you's and kudos lately for work I've been doing with my foreign sites. Boy those sites needed accounting type help and had no one to rely on so I've been sending customized spreadsheets and such to help them out. So that is my happy. Oh! and I've been diligent about a nightly power walk for the past week, I've lost 4 pounds and looks like the dog is also a bit more slender.

I am getting frustrated at work. I'm getting passed around and people are practically fighting over my time. While that sounds good, it means I have more work than I have time. I was at the office until 9 last night and 6:30 tonight. And then tonight I get an email asking if a spreadsheet I was given is built - from the woman who has been nearly monopolizing my time this week and should know darn well I haven't had any time to work on it because of everything she has demanded. I wanted to scream.

You need to speak up and ask her to prioritize, give her the list of items she has asked you to do. She probably is clueless as to how much work she has asked you to do for her.
She is totally clueless. This is the VP I've complained about before. When I talk to her today, I plan on laying out everything I have been doing the last two days that came before doing said spreadsheet. And be unapologetic that I didn't stay until 9:00 last night doing it.
Oh, and I should point out (but probably won't) that she has already used their allotment of my time this week. They get 40%, which would be 16 hours. I would say she's used more like 25 this week.
