What does it mean when there is a lone turkey? Usually I see a rafter (had to google

) of Turkeys, never solo. There is one at the edge of the woods in my back yard, he has been there for at least an hour. Has he been ostracized by the rafter? Or is there nest building going on?

Beautiful day here, heading for a high of 80!! Storms tonight, yay....not.
Little man is so much fun at this age, almost 18 months already.
We are going shopping later, we'll see how much he can grab off the shelves again. ;)

We are leaving to go to the Secret Keeper Girl Crazy Hair show tonight at 3:00. My friend got the girls the VIP tickets.

I woke up at 5, and at 6, 7, 9, 10 and finally got up at 10:30.

But I laid back down around 12. Didn't sleep, just had the overwhelming need to be horizontal.

Laid there playing a game and posting here till 1:30.

Got up, started cooking.

Supper is almost ready and I want to lay down again.

Nothing is wrong.

Just can't seem to stay vertical today.

It's a great show. This will be the third time I've seen him. I'm thinking this is actually part of the same "tour" as when I took my mom last year - the stage set up is the same. I'm just not a huge fan of big crowds. And this will be a big crowd. At least we have pretty good seats and the Schott is nice and roomy. I don't feel crammed.

we are back to the car, in the unending line to get out of the parking lot. Again, glad I can just sit back here and ride along. It was a good show. He's such an energetic performer. I don't know how he does it. He uses more energy in those 3 hours than I have all week.

Just got back from the Secret Keeper Girl show. It was really good. It was about teaching the girls to pay more attention to their inner beauty and not get wrapped up in the designer labels and obsessing over looks. Talked to them about not being mean girls, but to shine positively. Taught them about modesty, and in a funny way to get the point across. Taught them about choosing friends that don't encourage them to make bad decisions, and to talk to their moms and let them help. Encouraged them to be God-crazy instead of boy crazy, and that they can still have fun being a good girl. They did a crazy hair dance thing from each decade with wigs and stuff. And all interspersed with verses and lessons from the Bible. We all had a great time.
