DH called the new landscaping people today. I'm very much looking forward to them coming, but I'm not sure they will make it this week, which is frustrating. They are also going to look at our giant oak tree, it has to come down, it almost killed me last year and now it's spreading little baby trees in my yard. Grrrrr. But, it's a BIG tree.

We have a very small front yard and a very BIG tree that also needs to come down.

And I just cut half the lawn, then the mower died. At least the front looks better.

I hate those little helicopters that come down from our trees. I just hosed the patio off and it's dirty again. But at least I cleaned the pollen off.

We get about one or two wasps in the house each year. I got one the other night. It was in the kitchen garden window.

The grand's love those little helicopter seeds. They squirt each other with the juice from the seed pod. It is hilarious to watch them.

We had about 8 of our trees topped last fall and a couple more completely removed.  Those things are a PAIN!  The gutters clog up like crazy!!!!!

Afternoon.

We have a poplar tree that needs removed. It's old and losing its bark. It doesn't leaf up very much anymore, either. It will come down this fall.

Took DH for a blood draw this morning. DS asked him about the "Big M" (McD's) and an older gentleman came over, gave DS $3, and told him to go get himself a Happy Meal. Then we get home (with his Happy Meal because he reminded us every few minutes) and he found a penny on the ground.

Tomorrow is BYKTWD. Had to send a pic in for a security badge for DD and a video explaining what I do for the company. This is such a great opportunity for DD. Typically the employee kids that participate in these events are first on the list for scholarships and then internships and jobs. At the very least, DD will see all kinds of cool inventions and such. I am soooo excited for her.
