Although I did see a few pictures of storm pits being full of snakes.
One had 12 rattle snakes that I could count.
I think I might rather hang onto to the mailbox post instead of going in a storm pit with snakes.

That's what I mean, the mountains pretty much deflect a lot.
But when one does come over the mountain it picks up so fast, it becomes deadly.
