Prissy-Butt woke me at 5:30 - my alarm is set for 6:00 - I have to man the concession stand for the softball tournament - so I re-set it for 7:00 - and Prissy-Butt is still walking all over me. Its a good thing I love her.

I ordered some moto leggings from jane.com. Shoot me.

#1 appears to have a cold. Great. Someone is always sick on holidays or special occasions. Why should this year be any different. FML.

We are all up! DD has a hair appt this morning and my bro and his family are coming up for brunch. I have to prepare the fruit before I take DD to the appt. Anyone play pokemon? Going to a friend's house tonight for a girls night and to play pokemon (I'm told it's similar to bingo)

The only Pokemon I know is the kid's TV show. That can't be what y'all are playing, though.

DD plays. She and her friends even play in organized tournaments. She said there are plenty of middle aged people who attend as well.

Not sure what to do with my day. My parents are off running some errands and then they are going car shopping. My dad tried to buy my mom a new car for her birthday and struck out, so he's trying again for mother's day lol I declined to join them, made that mistake before

Now, what to do.....what to do......

Busy week. Hope all are well here.

Weather has just been miserable and rainy for at least a week. Early on, there were a few rays of sunshine but mostly cloudy and rainy. Only tomorrow is supposed to be nicer then back to icky for a few more days.

I joined Weight Watchers this week. I really need to do something to try to lose weight. I have spent too long maintaining this unhealthy body. Time to kick butt, my own.

DG, I think I need to set up challenges for myself for the exercise part.

A friend turned me on to a website - make yes happen - that has virtual races you complete. They have really motivated me to walk. You can sync your Fitbit (or other device) or make manual entries. You go at your own pace.

I also like challenging my friends with my Fitbit. 2 just got theirs last week, so I'm excited for our first challenge

I may not go play Pokemon. People are asking if they can bring their kids. Not going if there are kids. This was billed as a girls night, ie adult girls.

Went out for an early Mother's Day yesterday. The server brought my salad and DS got upset because he didn't get one so he shared mine. Our server did something last night that I've come to appreciate as a parent - treating DS like he's a customer too rather than a fixture at the table. I've lost count of how many servers take DH's and my order then take off before we can give them DS' order. The servers that treat DS like a customer too get an extra tip.

Slept in. Took the trash off, went to the grocery store, now I'm back home and I'd love a nap.

Turns out we are having a picnic tomorrow at a local historic site and state park. It'll be fun, Monster will get to go as well.

Did I mention I'd love a nap?

depending on how old they are, you go to flea markets and see if anyone is selling them, talk to them about it or search ebay to see if anyone is selling there.

Just providing some insight. Flan, you often tell people that something they said is their opinion. What is the purpose in that? Surely, they know that it's their opinion. Telling them that holds the same value as Lily saying she doesn't understand the game.

So do I.  We don't invite certain people when it's an adult evening because they never can find a babysitter or the babysitter cancelled at the last minute (though we suspect they didn't have one to begin with.)

Well, Dad succeeded. Mom is happy, she finnally has her heated steering wheel.

I ended up going to lunch and getting my nails done today. I really liked the guy that I got today, I'll need to ask for him again. He did a really good job.
