Well it is after midnight.  I napped for the past couple of hours as did DD and her friend.  Just sent them up to bed.  So this weekend is all about battling the dreaded sty.  I must "melt" the puss so it doesn't harden.  That means putting a hot washcloth on it several times a day.  Plus I have to mow the lawn.  should be interesting.

Today is all about doing lawn work so any eye repercussions can simmer down on Sunday.  MORNING!

I am about halfway through "The Widow." I'm dying to know if I can guess the ending.

 Eww!

Up and showered. Got a new cell phone last night so after I do some housework I am going to sit and play around with it.

Sties suck. Sorry to hear about yours. And yeah, I threw up a little, too. LOL Thanks for making me count my blessings!

Today is the boys' birthday party. Their birthdays isn't until June, but it's after school lets out so we're celebrating early before their friends start leaving town for vacays, etc. They're pretty excited. I don't throw them a party every year.

I got a killer deal so I splurged on one of those life proof boxes. I take pretty good care of my phones anyway so now it's super protected!

My dad had something inside his eye lid once and kept flipping his lid over to gross us out, he was such a silly man!

Sorry you have a sty, IKWTDS. Not fun.

SB, a new phone is always fun. What type did you get?

Cold morning here. Like freezing cold. DH turned the heat on when he got up. I had to throw an extra quilt on our bed last night too. Glad we got all the plants covered or moving in last evening. They would have been dead this morning.

One more night of freezing temperatures to get through and then we should be good for the summer.

I'm up way to early for a Saturday morning. I'm grumpy. Need more coffee..

Thanks.

I think DH has an Otter Box for his. I should think about getting one, since the boys like to play with my phone to fill that downtime when they are getting shots, etc.

I swear by my otter box.

I kept the hot washcloth on my eye lid last night. This morning it is much better. I plan on staying home tonight watching movies so will do the same thing. Will need to after I spend the day doing lawn work.

I do have to mail some packages this morning. It annoys me the post office is open for only a couple of hours Saturday mornings.

I love my otter box. It has saved my phone numerous times.

Glad your eye feels better this morning, IKWTDS. :)

I got a lifeproof box, similar to otterbox but it's waterproof.

The phone is a galaxy S7

DH got me an Otter box & I hated it. It made my phone feel like it weighed 10 pounds. I bought a lighter case & love it.

I rarely drop my phone.

Yeah, I guess I've held back on getting one because of the bulk. I like being able to slip my phone in a smaller purse or clutch and be off!

I had trouble pressing the keys as well (with the cover).

That's not how an otter box works.  The "keys" are accessible since the box doesn't cover the screen and the boxes are made for each device fitting nicely over the buttons so they are usable too.

I know what one flan is talking about, I probably had the same one. It was awful. You could run over it with a cement truck and it would survive. It was waterproof too.

They have slimmer ones. It's like buying a purse, there isn't just one style.

Today was supposed to be the day we open the pool. But I've gotten a stay on the work since its raining and about 50 degrees outside right now. Not sure what to do with my day. I really need to do some laundry and cleaning. I'll probably end up watching TV and playing FarmVille instead.

I think flan is talking about the clear plastic screen protector that covered the touch screen. It made the "keys" on the touch screen hard to activate at times. It bothered me as well and I don't use mine anymore for this reason.

My cousin has a phone case that has a cover and a wallet thing. It's really cool. If I didn't love my corgi case so much I would totally get one of those.

DH's Otter case doesn't cover the screen. Maybe there are different kinds?

Probably so. My otterbox has a clear plastic screen protector attached.  It is nice but it does make the touch screen harder to use at times.

Morning my pretties.

Yay! Birthday parties! Hope ya'll all have fun.

Hope that eye heals up quickly, IKWTDS.

Ya'll should see Monster. Bless his heart. He has that yeast infection on his skin again so the vet shaved him down to treat it. Well. He looks so funny now. And his ears! Oh gosh, and there is a black mark on his head! Well. I'm just going to have to get a picture. Good news is, the skin thing is already clearing up quickly.

Happy Saturday ya'll!

I couldn't figure out why I hadn't read this daily, hadn't posted on it AND couldn't find the Sunday daily when Sunday is half over. Then I remembered its only Saturday, which is good, because if it was Sunday I am 4 hours late for work. My brain is fuzzy . . .

Mine too flan. There was a clear screen protector attached to the Otterbox cover which covered the screen. It was horrid and I ended up not using it after a few months.

I decided to take today off from adulting. Its cold outside today, so there was no one outside in the neighborhood, so I took Corgi for a walk. He sniffed a bunch of grass and splashed in puddles. While he dried off in his crate, I went to the store. Stocked up on chips, soda and dog chews. We are now vegging on the couch eating chips, watching TV, posting here and playing Farmville.

I am going to watch Black Mass tonight and keep a hot compress on my eye, it's doing great BTW.  I did just chop up fresh mozz, tomato and basil.  My dinner tonight will be Brushetta.
